Maybe overly emotional Pickens has a point ... even if he is an overly emotional young receiver.
No but he also runs some lazy routes. He is not wrong but he is also part of the problem at times. He should be running a lot more slants and mid crossing routes.
Here is the thing. They are covering him with a safety over top. A lot..... and his route tree is not developed enough.
The coaches are drilling no turnovers. I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying it's a group effort to suck this bad. I think they should be finding ways to get him ball more. The whole thing us bad.So what?
I'm not saying to force feed him, but given some of the sensational catches along the sidelines he has made in his career to this point (several of which were in double coverage) how can it be justified not giving him ANY chances to do so throughout the course of a game?
I "almost" feel sorry for the kid at this point, despite the immature, selfish douche he appears to be.

He is a symptom of the disease infecting WRs since Hines/Cowher.No but he also runs some lazy routes. He is not wrong but he is also part of the problem at times. He should be running a lot more slants and mid crossing routes.
You can only adjust so much to make plays on throws from the wildly inaccurate QBs the Steelers employ…that said GP usually makes an insane catch there, if he’s actually trying. Obviously he’s given up on the “coaching” and “scheme”Mitch threw him a 59-50 ball that he says he will get and he did not yet again Mitch is the problem. Come on folks the action or lack of action by too many of our players become very obvious on the field.

Absolutely terrible on both sides of the coin. The receivers run bad routes or wrong routes and the route tree itself is barely a twig. I would fire the entire offensive coaching staff regardless of what happens with Tomlin. He definitely does run some laze routes. As has Diontae lately (which isn't the norm from him). But if you look at that chart above, he may be running those routes laze but the routes themselves are lazy coaching too.

Should be the offensive coordinator. Problem is the playbook is still his. That stinks won't be washed away until next year.Who does that fall on, I mean calling the plays for that to happen?
Who is over-all responsible ???
Just curious?
Salute the nation

Rooney gives a ****......about how much $$$$ he makes. You're right to bring up how other teams' offenses seem to be fairing better (far better in fact) with scrub QBs.
In context, our coaching appears to be even worse (at least on the offensive side) than we as fans generally perceived it to be right now, which is REALLY saying something.
And reading how Tomlin's seat is not even the slightest bit warm after approaching 7 years without a playoff win is absolutely astonishing to me.
I just don't get it. Why should we give a **** if ownership obviously doesn't?
