Maybe overly emotional Pickens has a point ...

In a far better system. No one has looked good in this system. Ben only looked good when he went off script in this debacle.
And it has taken a head coach 3 years to recognize this?

BS. When **** don't go your way you pout, act like a two year old, don't do your job and give half *** effort. You're either in 100% for TEAM or you're a me person. **** everyone else.

It doesn't matter what anyone else does, it matters what you do. You and you alone are responsible for your actions and the results of your actions.
This is the NFL and the best WR's are divas more often than not,
Steelers were well aware other teams took Pickens off their draft board due to his attitude/off the field issues when they drafted him.

At WR unfortunately you're production you're career, and your contract is in direct relation to what the QB does. Just a fact
Teams pay the divas despite their attitudes because they have elite talent.
If attitude was the main factor Half the teams in the league would not have WR and Pickens would have never been drafted.

I don't like Pickens attitude but I can understand his anger 100%. The fanbase is disgusted at this team and our livelihoods don't depend on it.

His talent is being wasted.

His talent is being wasted.
He had an opportunity to showcase his talent when he was one on one with 6' tall safety. He was out played and outjumped by the safety and cost us a turnover. He was more concerned with trying to sell a PI call then he was with catching the ball. If you are going to ***** and moan about having to run 3 and 5 yard routes, you better make the most of the opportunities that come your way down the field.

I think he's just trying to get the boot. Doesn't want to be here anymore.

Wow!! A hall of famer outplayed a barely second year QB with a struggling scheme? I m shocked I tell you, Shocked! He also did so by calling a lot of his own plays late in games and saying screw this to the OC.
So a nearly 40 year old post elbow Ben outplayed the #1 draft pick, in the same system?
I thought no QB could look better in this system?? Can't have it both ways, so which is it?
I'm shocked there are people that actually watch Steeler football and can't admit to themselves how bad Kenny has looked?
You Pickett believers are even more delusional than the Najee truthers

Post elbow Ben that couldn't move, threw for 55 TD's in 31 games, this rate it'll take Pickett 100 games to get to 55 TD's

Based on what he has shown so far, he wouldn’t get there in 100 games.

Today, George Pickens came out with saying he didn’t want to get hurt, and used TANK Dell as an example……

Adidi anatowkawama (SP) also reported that many team GMs felt he was the top talented WR to come out that year but no one had him on their board. They all were saying that the ONLY coach who could get through to this kis would be Coach Mike Tomlin. And here we are……….

SHE also said his career may be at stake because it’s doubtful anyone want to touch him after they’ve seen that Tomlin can’t get anything out of him.

He may be out of football all together if something doesn’t change.

H ell, even Antonio Brown told him to not act this way and that’s coming from …. Of all people AB.

Once out of football...He can always join the Steeler cannabis club with Santonio and Martavis...

Exactly, Pickens has made some ridiculous catches, but I just don't see how everyone always says he should be a top WR in the NFL. Based on what??? He's lazy, can only run like 2 routes, has a horrible attitude. Imagine if Olinemen decided to give zero effort if we called plays they didn't like, or if the RB's didn't give effort on a passing play because they didn't get the ball. The guy is a bum IMO, takes more than being athletic.
He has the physical skillset to be a top player in the nfl.

His work ethic is his downfall.
He had his issues at UGA as well. The difference is in college. You don’t have the income you do in the pro’s so when a coach reels you in and gives you a reality check. You either wake up or piss away any hard work that got you to that point in life.

Pickens is going to have to learn that he is a pro now and is responsible for his career now.

Then my HS team was more efficient and better coached

Sad
To be honest most HS and college practices are about teaching mechanics and proper form.

Guys in the nfl know their stuff at their craft. It’s up to the coaches to put those players in the best position to win games. Tomlin lacks that awareness. He always lacked it.

There are WR's with his size and speed drafted every single round of the draft, which is why I don't understand how people always say he should be a top WR in the NFL. He didn't blow the combine out of the water, something like the 21st ranked WR when it comes to athletism.

Well, he's made some absolutely ridiculous catches in his short career, most notably the one against Cleveland, so I think the skillset is there. Unfortunately, he has a 10 cent brain and little to no work ethic so I am beginning to think he may never reach his potential. That's sad, because he could be scary good if not downright great.

The guy kinda reminds me of Claypool. Claypool came out on fire then didn't do anything. Claypool had a terrible work ethic and had trouble with routes. Pickens catches the ball in traffic much better, but seems to have the same lazy attitude. If Pickens attitude does not change then he will never reach his potential.

There are. But he has body control and when his head is into it. He is a legitimate threat. But that’s the catch(no pun intended) you have to get him to buy in

How bad is it when AB tells you to straighten up?
Reminds of a story I heard back in the day where John Phillips of The Mamas and Papas was partying pretty hard and Mick Jagger told him to take it easy.

Pickens has a chance to hit 1000 yds with Kenny and Mitch throwing the Ball? Thats nothing short of impressive for this team.
He is the only guy besides Warren that has shown up this year on an embarrassingly bad offense.

Allen Robinson has been bad for the majority of his career, He's still in the league?
This woman should not be covering football if she thinks Pickens wouldn't have teams lining up on the open market.
One of the dumbest takes I've heard
