Here is my take on the ravens...
1. they lack a true shutdown corner... most teams do, they are very rare these days, but that means they can either scheme to shutdown the run or the pass. they have guys in good position most of the time, but when challenged they give up plays more than they make them. its why all of us wanted them to challenge them in the air this game....
2. They are shallow on the pass rushers... Suggs, Dumerville then no one... both of them are old... couple that with needing to dedicate guys to the secondary in double coverage and their pass rush is quite predictable...
3. They need a deeper offense. Flacco is average...an Alex smith type... you can build around him, but he needs a full offense around him to work...he isnt turning bums into all stars,,, however thats hard to do paying him what they are...
-They need another high end TE.
-they need a RB that is more than a roleplayer and can run, pass block and catch effectively so they arent telegraphing plays most of the time.
-they have steve Smith, who is probably done, and a speed guy in wallace... after that the wr corps is awfully shallow....
- they need at least one more stud olineman.
