But just standing alone with a reference to how he is too close to players (that could be any color coach) or mr cool shades (could be any color coach)
doesn't have to have a prejudicial meaning behind it....................

Coach Chin was stylin' but people with epilepsy couldn't watch his pressers or they'd have a seizure.
Thing is, calling someone a "players coach" has absolutely nothing, nada, zip, zilch, zero to do with race. Except in the minds of someone grasping at straws to put it in that category.

Mike Tomlin is not a players coach. So why would someone call him such? Maybe its because he is very close to the age, and very close to the hue, of several players.
In fact- why is this thread still even going? It does not look good for this forum that we are discussing a topic over 2/3 weeks old- unless some of you have something to get off of your chest....

Maybe more than a bit. Simple rules, anyone being critical of someone that is black regardless of performance is racist. It could not have anything to do with their performance. Any one being critical of someone white is not racist not ever. Anyone claiming that the above is true and claiming that they are being singled out for their color is not playing the race card, it is never their fault for anything. It is always the fault of those damn crackers and that is not racist ever.
I do not care what color the guy or gal is, if they are not doing a good job I will say so and it is based on my opinion of the job they are doing nothing else. If you wish to carry the racist crutch around with you go ahead it just shows your lack of merit and relevance.

First post in this thread. "He said on pregame show that people calling him a "players coach" is an insult to his age and his race." And he's sick of it. Sounds like he is complaining of being insulted due to his race to me.
