Mike Tomlin says BIG changes are happening

Not exaaaactly nothing ... He did bring in Glen Thomas. What that meant or how much input Thomas had, who knows? If going by the product we've seen ... absolutely nothing.

Do you think he would mention X and Os? I am telling you this whole coaching staff is clueless in that aspect.
 
I'm tired of the Tomlin double-speak. Some people's time just is up and a change is needed for both parties. I feel it's getting to be long and overdue for him to find another team, go to the both or what have you. We haven't been elite for awhile and they are becoming a bigger joke of a team and franchise. Measure our TEAM against the 49ers, Cowboys, Bills, Chiefs, Eagles and we are worlds apart. We are not even in the same zip code as them. Big changes, eh? There are none! That is the problem!

No, I am well aware that Tomlin is CLUELESS at scheming and game planning. BUT, I was hoping that he would do something more than blame his players for a total and epic coaching failure. He's going to end up losing the locker room...and maybe that is what it takes to get him out of here.

Might as well add the Dolphins to the list and for us at least, the Texans.

yea, there are more teams I could add, but look at Washington, they have Sam Howell and he looks a helluva lot better than KP and they are putting up points. Could we take Philly to OT in Philly? Not on our best day. It would be scary to think what Tua and Tyreek Hill could do to our D.
 
Throws the team under the buss, mention not one or himself the blame for anything. But they will have pads on. This is going to be a very very interesting game.

We have experienced this before. Seems to happen every year. Tomlin gets top 5 pay to run a bottom 5 team.
 
One of my issues with this press conference is that Tomlin essentially said that Watt and Highsmith were not physical enough to get a sack on Stroud. If that is not true, then you have to admit it was his game plan and scheme that was flawed. He literally said Watt and Alex were to blame, not his **** defensive scheme.

Lamar is the only healthy starting QB in the AFC North.
 
He has no answer. He is not the proper head coach for this franchise anymore. 2009 was a wake up call for some fans who saw the writing on the walls.

Of course. Tomlin has zero accountability for a ****** scheme he runs offensively and defensively.

Actually, the Steelers were ninth in the league in rushing defense last year, and #7 in YPA allowed at 4.16. In 2023, they are 29th and allowing 4.71 yards per carry, which is #28 in the NFL. And Cam has played a grand total of 14 snaps this season, about a fifth of one game.

Not sure what you're talking about.

We're as responsible for that as anybody. I guarantee you next week if Trubisky doesn't have a great f****** game, we're going to eat him alive.

We're just giving Tomlin endless excuses.

Canada is going no where until the offseason, unfortunately. And sadly...

THE STEELERS WILL NOT EVER WIN ANOTHER SUPER BOWL AS LONG AS TOMLIN IS HEAD COACH.
