Minkah Fitzpatrick - Worth a high pick?

I don't watch collage ball so I don't know how good this guy is. is he worth our 1st? who sits Davis?

The FO is feeling the heat so they are making moves that they historically don't usually make.

Who's getting cut?

So let me get this straight.. we lose our starting QB who is the only hope to make a run, and the front office says, yep lets go all in on this season to win. My mind is blown.

Every football analyst right now: Great move for the Steelers.

Guy who has probably never watched Fitzpatrick play:

We just gave up a top 10 pick for a guy that is exactly like Sean Davis except better ball skills. He hasn't shown he's a good safety, and you think this coaching staff will figure it out for him? We've become a joke of a franchise.

Miami said - you know that first you offered us a week ago and we said it wasn't going to be high enough - um, well, we'll take it because, well you know ...

it is not like this is a rental...he is signed through 2021 with a 5th year option

damn this site is always full of folks bitching about the Steelers never doing anything big

they trade up for Bush and people *****

they trade for what could be a star DB and people *****

guess you would rather they ******* give in and go for the top pick

**** that ****, do what you can to solidify the team and try to win now.....

yeah, I know, the wrs suck and Rudolph is still an unknown at this point but I still prefer they keep ******* trying to improve instead of cashing it in and just playing out the string

Panic

We gave up a potential#1 QB for a safety?

Tomlin should be drug tested

Who did the Bucs win there SB w/??? It wasn't ******* Joe Montana - it was TRENT DILFER and a riptide defense!!!

Go get a drink and celebrate. I am.

Tito's for everybody!!!

He is not top 10 talent, why would Dolphins trade him away if he was? Especially when he's under contract for that long still.
So if we lose the next 5 in a row, is he going to request another trade? It's an absolutely horrible trade. This staff can't coach up anyone.

If this was such a great move, why wasnt it done prior to the HOF qb season-ending injury?

This is not about Fitzpatrick. It is about the Steelers ******* up every move this off season and now extending that into a 12% shot to make the playoffs.

What happens if this guy says, Whoa, I meant trade to a playoff team and hesitates? Maybe Gruden will answer. Lol.

Lol this defense compared to that defense... that's too funny.

Wait. So, based on how this season seems to be going, we’re likely getting a higher first round pick than we’ve had in a long time and we traded it.

whatever....you would ***** if they traded Moncrief for DeAndre Hopkins

You seem to be overreacting...just a tad.

Because the dolphins are doing what the dolphins do.
They did pass on Brees after all.

So when the offense was absolutely LOADED the Steelers do absolutely nothing to help out the defense. When their franchise QB gets hurt and they could potentially have a high draft pick, they trade it to improve the defense. I don't get this line of thinking. For a second, absolutely.

It's the difference between people comfortable in their jobs and people scared for their jobs.

Make no mistake. This trade happened because of us fans. The steelers are well aware of how much negativity has been online and on radio and that is why this trade was made.

It is frustrating though that the steelers have seemingly been content to just go through a season with big flaws and hope for the best. Now when there are gaping holes to fill, they finally make a move.

The Bush trade and now this shows that pressure has been applied to Tomlin and Colbert

Out of all the times in the past they could have traded for an OLB or someone to help the defense when our offense was great, they did nothing.
This year, we're bound to do not much of anything and they give up a top 10 pick... how does this make sense? Sorry, I'm not going to praise a move with no logic.
