Minkah Fitzpatrick - Worth a high pick?

So let me get this straight.. we lose our starting QB who is the only hope to make a run, and the front office says, yep lets go all in on this season to win. My mind is blown.

then certainly you had a trade that we should have done.

I won't even search your posts to know you were crying about the sky falling yesterday and today.

Miami now has three 1st rd picks and two #2s

Thats what we should be doing

Out of all the times in the past they could have traded for an OLB or someone to help the defense when our offense was great, they did nothing.
This year, we're bound to do not much of anything and they give up a top 10 pick... how does this make sense? Sorry, I'm not going to praise a move with no logic.

PROVE we were going to draft in the Top 10.

Miami ******* sucks and has ******* sucked for years

no one says their pick would automatically be in the top 10...still a lot of bad teams out there and Rudolph is not a ****** QB...

you ******* would ***** about a ******* blowjob by (fill in the blank with whatever gal or guy you think is hottest)

He is not top 10 talent, why would Dolphins trade him away if he was? Especially when he's under contract for that long still.
So if we lose the next 5 in a row, is he going to request another trade? It's an absolutely horrible trade. This staff can't coach up anyone.

Listen, go take your complaining *** elsewhere. Minkah is a BLUE CHIP player. Go do your research...watch videos on YouTube w/ Coach...chyt..stop raining on my parade.

coach is going to spoooge if Davis is sat

Maybe, just maybe...this move isn't about THIS season. Considering he's signed thru 2021 with a 5th year option as already mentioned. Get him in here, learn the system.

They better pray to God that Tomlin can find a way to utilize him, because we are mortgaging our future for a scheme that has seen numerous personnel fail trying to execute.

Mortgaging the future? Fitzpatrick is in his second year and they have control over his contract for four years. Yeah, not mortgaging the future at all with this move.

He's not worth a top 20 pick, is that better? Why now are they willing to go out and give up picks for guys? They are years late, you don't agree?

Yeah, never understand why people get fascinated when bad teams stockpile first round picks. They rarely make the right choice with all those selections (see Cleveland for all of those years).

And the second year guy just managed his way out of a five year contract with the team that drafted him......maybe he didnt like the owner?

I saw him play in college and he's a very good player. I don't know enough about him in Miami or what his attitude is right now to say. I thought he'd be worth a #1 pick. After reading about the issues he had in Miami I'm not sure. He only wants to play slot CB. He doesn't want to be moved around. Not sure how that's going to work here.

Can he play 10 yards off, blow assignments, and whiff on tackles? If so, he'll fit right in. This team has been drafting and acquiring defensive talent for what, almost a decade? They don't have a proper D coordinator. Sorry if I'm not impressed.

1st, I'm stoked they got Minkah. He was one of the best safeties in history at Bama and arguably Nick Saban's favorite player. He was often referred to as Saban's son. His talent and football I.Q. are off the charts.

2nd, tape is correct.

3rd, Perhaps they really do think Rudolph is the future and were willing to take the gamble by trading this pick.
