I think his leash needs to get a couple chains shorter after today's performance, he's not looking good at all. Starting to look like Mason 2.0, great preseason that can't translate to the regular season field.

A garbage coach and QB belong together. Look at the defensive players that we have lost, because of the QB and a worthless head coach. Tomlin has an army of assistant coaches and it is still not enough for him..
 
He just doesn’t trust his arm he holds on to the ball too long. when he holds the ball you either get a hold or a sack neither is good… don’t tell me receivers aren’t open… no they are not WIDE OPEN but they are open you have to throw them open by throwing a dart. This is the NFL one thing about Kenny he throws darts he can throw these guys open… its going to be sooner than later that Kenny takes over and it will be for that reason.
 
QB or OC, here is what I know. This offense produced 16 points with a +5 turnover advantage. They still can’t run the ball for **** and 90% of the passing game is short of the sticks. Defenses know the OL is soft and can’t protect so they stack the box. Looks just like last year. You know, when Ben was the problem.

Now apparently, Mitch is the problem. Every QB is the problem except Kenny Pickett who hasn’t played. Maybe the OL, the OC and the offensive philosophy is the problem.

Going to disagree with the majority of this thread. The offensive playcalling was horrendous. Did folks not notice us regularly only sending two receivers out, not using the middle of the field AGAIN (just like the last two years), not using any quick hitting passes? I mean, I have never seen an O game plan that ignores the middle and quick routes so much (outside of Canada of course). Also, never saw someone so determined to run run right up the middle with a STACKED offense vs spreading the field. The issues in this game?

Canada (dipshit o coordinator, not the country).
Refs calling everything against Steelers in second half but sure as heck can find a single time the Bengals line held?
The person that runs the clock ... they sure seemed to help the Bengals with lots of 2-4 second plays. LOL.

If the offense or Mitch is crap I am glad to say that, but the play calling didn't even allow for that.

So it's delusional to agree that the scheme, coaching, and OL are bad, while also acknowledging Mitch was bad too? That's delusional. It's nice to shield you're argument with the preface that anyone who disagrees with your opinion is delusional

Lol no you didn't, because I'm an adult and I realize ppl disagree. Everyone has their own opinions which is why I don't shield my arguments with stupid statements like "anyone who disagrees with me is delusional"

Personally, I think you can have multiple factors so I am with you there. But, we have seen the Canada show before. Canada did not give them a chance. As was the case in prior seasons, he regressed from the preseason. He went right back to doing what he does. And what he does is not good. It is unfortunate. Sad.

I think he is going to get the riot act read to him. If TJ is lost for the year and the O doesn't improve by October don't be surprised if Tomlin takes the play calling away from him.
