That was a great play, keep in mind this thread was created while the Bengals was driving down the field in the 4th Quarter for what would've been the go ahead lead (and win) had they made the extra point. Trubisky did show me something on that drive, up until then it was largely all 3 and outs.. But hey we did come away with the W because of this drive so I'll give credit where it's due. But he's going to need to start playing alot better and being asked to do alot more if we want to win more games like this this year. The run game was just as bad so I'm not going to put all the blame solely on him.

in what Mitch could control, I saw him throwing off his back foot a lot. That's not good. Hopefully someone in the offensive coaching staff sees that... though I doubt they will.

One game doesn’t really give you a basis to make a judgement on a guy… That being said, he isn’t a pocket passer. He needs to roll out more and freestyle.. the receiver group needs to learn how to do scramble drills better… too many times i see receivers just dormant while the play breaks down… this has gotten worse since Haley left too.. hopefully the new wr coach can rectify this

Yes, but we have more than one game to make a judgement on Matt Canada. Same offense as last year. And this team, for whatever reason, just refuses to change, make adjustments. It’s like they have a meeting every week, tell the players “this is what we are doing, period, no improv just follow the script and execute.” The offense is easy to defend, and if the defense falters, the Steelers lose.

I don’t know if it’s Canada, Tomlin, or both, but this stupid offense needs fixed. It’s the dumbest scheme I’ve ever seen at any level of organized football.

It's absolutely both. Matt Canada is not a good NFL offensive coordinator, however, this BS on offense was going on with Fichtner as well. I also firmly believe even bad OCs don't want to be so conservative week after week. Tomlin has to have a heavy influence over this philosophy.
