Mock the updated big board consensus.

I hate this, all the players I want are just before we pick... Wait, the players shifted. I can get my guy!

A SS in round one? No DL? The rest of your mock drat is better from round 3-7. By the way Freeload is not likey to be there for us at pick #80. Did you factor in and outstanding combine?

Branch plays both SS and Nickel CB, and can play rover safety too. If Sutton is kept then Branch is a fine chess piece to get.

All I can agree with you here is that it would have been nice to get DL help.

If SS is the BPA sure.

BTW it is Freeland not load. Sometimes a good combine confirms a players board status and doesn't necessarily move the prospect up cooch.

Check out our current team due to our FAs. We don't have a staring SS, NCB, or ILB. Branch can rotate to any of those positions. 3 holes and one chess piece that can play all of them. He's my #1 target this year and I stand by it.

I went off the consensus, and it shifts daily, but the day I did it, he was there. I like sparq-ie guys, but I don't fall in love with sparq guys with low production.

Also, I believe Leal will be ready to start this year with Loudermilk as a solid backup. Not as much of a need than Safety who is now returning only 1 of the 4 players that were rostered to play safety on D, not safety on ST like Killebrew (the 5th who is returning)

I could also see them filling SS in FA even if Edmunds and Kazee don't come back. There's a bunch of guys that are still young and could possibly be upgrades. But even if you bring back Edmunds, then Branch is definitely an option at 17

Already heard they are having talks with Kaz and Sutton I expect both back. I think Edmunds probably will be back but that is a guess. Regardless if Branch is BPA I mean the clear BPA I think you take him. As Edmunds and or Kaz won't be long term contracts and they can still upgrade Maulet. Obviously not my number one personal want but if the BPA I can't argue with it...

On a number of imaginary drafts Branch was still there at 32. I was able to pick one of the top 3 OT's at 17, and Campbell at 49.

I'm now going to be very disappointed when this doesn't actually happen. :ROFLMAO:

I do say who I like before, but I do not know who is on the board, or if the Steelers were offered any trades. As such say who I would have taken the day after the draft! Would you like to see one of them?

I called bad picks on Bush, that 2nd round man who never played a down for us , felt Harris was not the back we need and loved the picks of Watt and Pickens. All of which can be seen within the archives which are time stamped. By the way this mock draft, but tend to doubt that Broderick Jones will be on the board for us.

Hindsight is always 20/20...

We do this for fun. If it's not fun for you, that's cool. I'm not strong at mocks, and I'll have a better one in April. I just do it to get the players names in my head for the draft show.

He produced it to me, but it's up to him if he wants to share it with the group.

Also all of our mocks are going to change slightly from week to week, so no need to hold anyones feet to the fire that are sharing mocks about 2mos away from the draft.
