My text exchange from today...

I can't post images anymore either it doesn't seem. Whenever I try, it never works. It's possible I just don't know how to internet anymore.

Steeltime should be sending you a PM with directions on how to do it.

Also, if you have the image stored on your computer, you will be unable to load it until you give it a jpeg or png address. You can do that via this amazing site:

https://postimages.org/

You register on that site, free of charge, select the image you want, and it will be converted to an image with a jpeg or png address, like this one:

Yep.

Well that's much better. I'm really rusty at this sort of thing.

BTW That was Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida this morning. Wife got us a free condo for 3 days. Well other than have an army of kids with us most of the time. It's grand. It's remote and all of these ocean waves wash away the reality of the current state of the country for awhile.

They have weird grass in FLA.

Saint Augustine grass is the most used. I personally don't like it. Super thick sod,it's like walking on hay and it will die if you don't water it every other day in the summer from getting cooked by the sun.

You can’t say your going to show us nudes then not post them.

Ha. Yeah, you don't want to see that trust me. I'm 53 and I think the quarantine tacked on another decade.

Really nothing worth all the rigamarole. Probably didn't even need it's own thread. I got this text today:

"It's Matt from Working America. COVID has shown us CEOs get richer, even when the rest of us are going broke. What do you think is the best way to change that?"

My response:
"Go to college, go to grad school, work your butt off for a couple of decades and become a CEO?"

Matt has still not responded.

Hopefully this got me taken off his list, lol.

"But,but, but thats a lot of work!" said lazy *** political scientist major.

You know what dumbass 'Matt' was probably thinking after your text? "She must be a stupid CEO of something".

You won't ever hear from him again thankfully.

Politicians should be limited to no more than ten promises per campaign. They are welcome to make less. For each promise they keep, they get paid the concomitant percentage of their salary. Made five promises, just kept one, here's 20% of your salary.

At the end of the term, for each promise NOT kept, a finger is removed by a voter chosen at random. Politicians would promise a ****-ton less and deliver a ****-ton more.

Proffering some great goddamn ideas for running for public office in this great nation. Damn, I am the internet version of Madison. James, not Dolly.

Weirdo neighbor and his ammo can.

I think I used the same site. When I did it to convert jpeg to a URL link, it listed a couple of "for forums" links/conversions. The first one I chose sized it too small, but the second one made it fit here. If that helps anyone.

Ahhh you shouldn’t have responded. Now his partner Jenn is going to call about your extended car warranty

Oh my GOD! I can't tell you how many times I have asked them if they will still warranty my car if it's at the bottom of a lake with a body in the trunk. (The answer seems to be no as they usually hang up.)

What did you have to do to get the image to post? There certainly seems to be some kind trick that I have not figured out compared to every other other forum like this to which I post.

Two ways to make it work here.

ONE

Find an image on the internet.
Right mouse click and hit "Copy Image Location"
In THIS forum, hit the button highlighted below in green that looks like an image. It will pop open a new window

<a href='https://postimages.org/' target='_blank'><img src='https://i.postimg.cc/DfLynpX3/One.jpg' border='0' alt='One'/></a>

Next you will see this window:

<a href='https://postimages.org/' target='_blank'><img src='https://i.postimg.cc/bNwM3s8V/Two.jpg' border='0' alt='Two'/></a>

Make sure you hit the From URL tab
Uncheck the Retrieve remote file and reference locally. DO NOT LEAVE THAT CHECKED
Then, in the URL space, PASTE the link you copied for the image
Hit OK. You're done.

TWO

Go to https://postimages.org/ and create an account. It's free
Download any image from the internet by right clicking and hitting Save Image
At PostImages, hit the Blue Link that says Choose Images with the file folder icon next to it

<a href='https://postimages.org/' target='_blank'><img src='https://i.postimg.cc/4NHvfg1N/Three.jpg' border='0' alt='Three'/></a>

When you are done you will see this. Go to the very last entry "Hotlink for Website" and click the icon all the way to the right. It will COPY it for you.

<a href='https://postimages.org/' target='_blank'><img src='https://i.postimg.cc/3rt0DJBF/Four.jpg' border='0' alt='Four'/></a>

Come back here and literally paste that link onto the page. That's all you have to do. It will look like this:

<a href='https://postimages.org/' target='_blank'><img src='https://i.postimg.cc/GpvsBF74/Five.jpg' border='0' alt='Five'/></a>

Voila! You're done

I'm pretty sure I've tried the insert image function, but maybe I used the link button, or maybe I left the checkbox checked. I also tried uploading from my computer, but they probably don't want to be hosting a bunch of images.

Let's see what happens. I tried to post this image in the Biden thread regarding his VP selection. I think it came down to this lady and Kamala Harris.
