NASCAR 2017 Thread

NASCAR All-Star race tonight at 6:00 on Fox Sports 1.
 
So we have special sticky green tires that teams must use once and can only use once. What is this fuckery? NASCAR trying to become F1?

Great race today at Sonoma even though I hate that ****** harvick. Daytona next week and then on to Kentucky where I will be in attendance!!

Yeah, i was telling the wife that Sonoma is a good race because the place is light on guardrails so dudes (and Danica) can run off the track, get some dirt, and get right back on.
 
Helluva good race this week at Daytona.
 
Cancelling my trip to Kentucky. Shame but I'm going to Bristol so it's all good

JGR hasn't been good lately. I heard Kenseth leaving is due to lack of enough sponsors.
 
That was a terrible rave. My guy in 2nd place and it was still boring as hell. I like truex but wouldn't be surprised if he failed post race

Another race, another crash out for Matt. Those cars are cursed, I don't blame him for leaving
 
Boring track, boring one-groove race. They should dump KY and add another one back to Darlington, or re-open Rockingham. Maybe they could win some fans back. Filling seats at smaller tracks is better than what they have now.

Yeah, not that good a track. First few races there half the crowd missed half the race because they didn't know how to manage the traffic. I suppose they need something in the Midwest but they either need to find a better track or improve that one..

Add 40,000 seats to Iowa and send the cup guys there. Rebuild Kentucky as a short track.

Dollar General leaving Joe Gibbs Racing, NASCAR at end of season

Tennessee-based Dollar General is leaving Joe Gibbs Racing and NASCAR altogether after this season.

The departure of Dollar General, leaves JGR hunting for a replacement for Kenseth’s car next year, when the familiar yellow paint scheme will be history.

No rain? NE must be drying out - Watkins Glen next week is always a wild card
