Seems that way. But the winners always get post race inspection. Jeff Gordon won 13 races in 1998 and had 26 top 5s. It happens some years. That team has something. They got some spooky engineering going on to be doing what they doing.
Kyle Larson wins at Michigan again!! I was all fired up!
I'm going to the Bristol night race next week. Gonna be a blast.
I wore earplugs at Kentucky so I'll definitely be wearing them at Bristol.Bristol's a trip. It's the only track where I wear earplugs. Grandstand is so high the sound can't get out. My friends from Wexford are going.
You camping or in a hotel?
Watch your speed though town. They have photoradar cameras. I got a speeding ticket in the mail a few weeks later with photos of my truck and license plate.
We're camping but like 40 minutes away so I don't expect much of a party there. Is there a good tailgating scene outside before the race? I'm thinking about tailgating. Also, it said you could take a cooler 14 inches wide in. Can you take beer in it? It didn't say it was prohibited.
We're in Wallace Tower above 1 and 2I suppose there's tailgating. We always stay at Dave's Family Camping which is literally across the road and within walking distance. You can take beer in but no glass. All has to be in cans.
Bristol doesn't sell out anymore so traffic shouldn't be as bad as it used to be, but leave early and expect to get back late.
FYI, the first two times we went our seats were in the very top row above Turn 1. Check that out when you're there. The inside is not a whole lot larger than Heinz Field but it seats 100,000 more people. Think about it.
Darlington and Richmond - we still got a chance thanks to Kyle!
Go Matt!...........no crash outs please!
yeah, it went right down to the end
word is Matt might be retiring
Darlington was a good race, throwback cars were cool
The King got black flagged for not pulling off the pace car lap
