Danica should go back to Indycar - she did much better there

I think so too.
The Petty fan FB page I belong to, and the Smithfield page that I don't belong to, are blowing up.

Was awesome to see Larson get the win. Didn't get to catch much of it because I had just got back from Penn State for the Pitt game close to the end of the race.

yeah - never happen - she said she's done with Indycar - could come back part-time to maybe run some cup next year, Daytona, Indy - somebody will give her a seat

Not many openings - she'll probably retire and nascar will have to find another female driver - I can't see her going down to any other series

Noted engine builder and team owner Robert Yates has passed away.

Very sad. I got into NASCAR watching Davey Allison and Mark Martin. The Yates team suffered through so many tragedies, Davey, Kenny Irwin, Ernie's near death, etc.

Robert Yates had been fighting cancer for about a year.

Hardly anyone attending Charlotte today. If not for TV, NASCAR would be completely dead. No one to blame but themselves.

Strong threat of rain today though. Normally this is a Saturday night race, I don't know why they changed it. Been to this race many times but my bud gave up his October tickets and infield RV pass and just goes in May.

Truex wins again, killing it this year.

She just said she's going to race the Daytona 500 and Indy 500 next year, then retire.

Martin Truex wins Homestead and the championship. That's fine, he's been killing it all year.

I guess now I can drop off my #43 Aric Almirola t-shirts at the Salvation Army.
