NFL 2022 draft thread

See the thing is Pickett will be fine… but I don’t think he is going to be threatening any records or anything… if he works out he will be like Carr or Cousins… he isn’t going to light up the league… he will play smart football with adequate talents…

Kind of like we love to use at C

Green is bigger and more athletic than Linderbaum.

Yes, he is a superb technician, but the problems Green had with getting shoved into the backfield are going to be something the Rats enjoy this year.

Sure did fool everybody with the Malik Willis infatuation though didn't they? Guess that was the whole idea.
I'm guessing they figured Pickett would be gone by the time they picked. I know I did.

Hey, Tom Brady made himself into a superstar after entering the league with less talent than Pickett.
Hope that makes everybody feel better. :sneaky:

Linderbaum is a very good football player, but wow, he is under 300 lbs. and just not very big. He is going to struggle a bit against the massive DL's in the AFC North.

I also saw he has T-Rex arms.

How do you 'know' he's going to be fine???

Read drew brees draft scouting reports to what he became four years later… though to be fair the guy will be 24 this seasand 25 when he finally starts… by 25 Ben already won a super bowl

Watched enough of him at Pitt… he never gave me the feeling that Ben did that last season in college… he isn’t a system built guy and he isnt raw.. he has a couple minor technical issues that are fixable. He has a moderate nfl arm and can make all the nfl throws.

I just don’t get that feeling that he can carry an offense or routinely have comeback wins like the greats do…

Give him a run game, a good oline, good wrs, and a D and he will win…

No it doesn't...
Well man, that's all I got. I'm hoping he's a success right off the bat. We only have Cam for a couple more years realistically. TJ is entering his prime. So, it would benefit us all to say a few prayers for Kenny Pickett's immediate success.
Hope and prayers ... that's really all I got.
