NFL moves Browns-Bills game to Detroit due to snowstorm

And I'm telling you that's nonsense. Agree to disagree. You can absolutely find the people you want. As much as I hate to bring it up and hate those ********. You want to see an unselfish no bullshit team culture. The pats*** from 2001-2020.
you forgot to add cheating pieces of ****

there is a 99.99% chance that this was simply done for safety, but the cynical conspiracy theorist in me looks at how the under on the over under was bet so heavily to drop it almost a td with no end in sight since the storm was announced, and how moving the game instantly voids all those bets… and wonders if Vegas didn’t have a hand in it lol

Not sure why they wouldn't have moved the contest to the Rogers Centre (dome in Toronto). The Bills have played several "home" games there before.

You can throw in the Titans. Throw on some black&gold and that's what the Steelers should be
The pats cheated. Their selfishness ruined the integrity of the game. They are far from unselfish.

I don’t watch much nfl these days outside the Steelers to know who is what. I just know Mahomes is on every commercial, Josh Allen is my favorite non Steelers player. So no comment on the titans

Making sense is frowned upon with the schedule people

No the NFL ruined the integrity of their own game. It's not like all of these billionaire owners didn't know about it. Brushed aside. Now most people today think the whole thing was about a few lower psi footballs.

Clearly no one took my thoughts under consideration. I wanted a snow game.

Me two

1) I clearly I handn't taken your thoughts into consideration

2) I wanted a snow game too !!!

Salute the nation

Kinda bs. I was looking forward to this game. Now I’ll just watch the Steelers get butt pounded by the BungHoles.

Ever driven on the Ohio Turnpike in/after a Winter storm? Not really an easy drive. Although, given the intelligence of Browns fans, I'd expect more than a few to go ahead and make the drive.
Heh, what do I know, I live in the desert, although I did drive from Cleveland to Detroit in February a few years ago, no snow.

I grew up in the Winter Hell that is Northwest OH/Toledo. Worked in Cleveland for a few years. The drive from Cleveland to Toledo (45 mins from downtown Detroit) after a snowstorm is ridiculous. Mostly because of other drivers.

They played the games with no fans during Covid... If you can make it go, if not stay home. I bet they would have had volunteers lined up to shovel out seats and would have brought the town together....but nooooooo...

The town will be too busy dealing with 5 FEET OF SNOW on their own property. What’s so hard to understand about that?

The only thing that slowed me down was the speed trap in Toledo.

It'll be alright. Short people can stay home.

It was done for logistical purposes. 5 feet of snow really ***** thing up for everyone.

Meh I don’t get the Titans worship among the Yinzers… yeah they have a D and a power run game… and thats more than we do most years, but they also have a losing record in the playoffs under Vrabel and two of those three losses were at home… the same kind of stuff people bitched about cowher and Tomlin for…

Sure a power run game and defense can usually keep teams competitive, but in this day and age you aren’t cutting through all those high powered offenses with it… plus they basically drafted a Kordell clone as their next QB, so there is that… lol

I agree with most here. They either had to move the game or cancel it! However, moving it to Detroit makes no sense as that is a long way away for Bills fans. It is supposed to be a home game for them, but will most likely be a home game for Cleveland considering Detroit is a small hop. they should have kept Steelers-Cinci at 8PM and had the Bills/Cleveland play at 1 pm Bills fans could have escaped the snow and come south to Pittsburgh (even though there will be snow in Pittsburgh as well and along I79.). Now that I think about it, Pittsburgh wouldn't have been idea either with the hotel situation. Maybe a trek across the state to New York City area would have been better! Toronto sounds like a great idea as well if fans can get there well before the storm hits Buffalo.

Seriously. they should have thought about me. I wanted a snow game. I picked up the Browns defense in to FF leagues in anticipation of someone winning 3-0.

I’m thinking that would have been a mess trying to usher out the Bills and Browns fans while ushering in Steelers fans wanting to tailgate.

Sucks for Bills fans, losing a home game like that. But it is an unavoidable circumstance due to nature/weather. What would really tick me off would be if my home team has a "home" game scheduled on foreign lands (Europe, Mexico). Do those fans get a 1/8th discount on their season tickets? Or do they schedule a "home" team that would've had 9 home games due to the 17-game schedule, still allowing 8 games to be played at their "real home"?

Yeah, after I hit enter I realized that there would also be a situation with hotels and such. Maybe a move across the state to NYC?

It would’ve opened a whole can of worms.
