NHL 2017-2018 season(other teams)

Sarge, you have to keep in mind that they are the Caps. No one ***** a 2-0 series lead like the Russian Caps.

The Pens gave the caps a push. Wasn't pretty hockey by us which is why we aren't defending our title.
But I think a healthy, less burnt out Pens team would've taken that series. But I'll give the caps their props.
They came into this playoffs rallying around each other. That type of mentality pushes teams past their blocks

The difference in our series was Holtby. We had our chances. He stole it.

I agree somewhat, and then I realize that the Pens had leads in the third period vs. caps in, what, either 4 or 5 of their 6 contests. Series was there for the taking, but they just couldn't finish it out this year. Really sucks too, because seeing how Tampa is playing, it's hard not to think about that three-peat. It wasn't meant to be. Ah well, I'm still damn proud of everything this teams accomplished, and being on the ride for it all. and technically, until someone else wins it, the Penguins are the champs. So I'm gonna enjoy my highlights, wear my championship threads, and strut my chest out for another month. Let's Go Pens!

Well....If the Caps do win it all, Ovie still has a way to go in the hardware department to catch up to Sid.
I can accept that our team was running on fumes.
Game 6 was telling how tired the Pens looked. Like you though, damn proud too. Been rockin some Pens gear even after the season ended.

Hope Tampa can put together a solid game. All it takes is one win.
Like Cope said. Those russian caps may....*choke*

I just realized. With all those russians on the caps, does that mean russia colluded with DC? O.o
Check Trotz' e-mails.

Lol. The melt down could happen.
Their fanbase is running at an all time high.

Cannot blame them for being in an exciting position, but still.

I hate to see Tampa go but the hole they dug is pretty deep. I like Vegas but I think Winnipeg is a more difficult match up for the caps. # Anyone but the caps.

I don't really hate the caps. Just a big chunk of their fan base. Living a little over an our out of DC. I have to listen to it all the time.

Come on. The Caps have been dominant thus far. This series hasn’t been close. It’s not 2-0 by accident or a fluke. Based on what I have seen, Tampa will be lucky if they don’t get swept. I hate the Caps just like you, but don’t kid yourself. This Caps team is different. They have at least as good of a chance as any team left. Probably are the favorite at this point.

I hear you, but the Caps are a Jekyll and Hyde franchise. I've lived here for decades. They blow 2-0 series leads like the Pens win cups. Just because they look good, it only takes one bad game to grow that seed of doubt, and man, does it grow quickly inside of Cap skulls! Caps will be up in a series, one bad loss, and the sky if falling on local radio.

It takes 4 games to advance, not 2. Caps were already road dogs down 0-2 heading to Columbus, and fought back in the series. Tampa is capable of doing the same thing.

I would like to see fleury shut down the caps. Tampa has looked awful. The caps are better than most give them credit for. They are playing with more heart and more as a team than previous years.

Glad Vegas evened it up 1-1. I watched the last half of the game. Good stuff.

I didn't get to watch the game last night. Kinda bummed I missed it. Sounds like it was a good one.

Well, ok. You hang on to that with all you have. I know what I have seen so far. This Caps team just looks different. They could have wilted after they played 4:30 of bad hockey against the Pens and lost game one of that series. All they did was win 4 of the next 5 and take two out of three on the Pens home ice.

I agree Tampa is capable of coming back, but in this series, they got dominated at home and now have to go on the road and try to make that up. Good luck with that.

TB has to win tonight. Actually, the next two games in DC and that will be very tough. They lose one and they are done.

Vegas surprised me. The Jets could have had at least 3 goals in the first period, but had a doughnut. Vegas hung in there and played pretty well. Winnipeg is good, but couldn't get anything going. The scored in the 3rd to make it 2-1 and Vegas scored 1:24 later. That was the end of that.

Vegas looked good last night.
They had multiple shifts where it looked like they were gonna score at will.

The Jets and Vegas can fly. It's nice to see Reaves get some playing time.

And good luck to Tampa tonight. Rooting for yas all.

Caps resorting to some extra curriculars.
Heads up Tampa!

Uh oh. Caps on the board. Got too careless Tampa.

Did you see Ovechkin act like he was going to break the guys neck after he boarded his buddy Wilson? It wouldn't surprise me if that guy gets thrown in prison one of these years. He's the Ray Lewis of hockey in my opinion. ,

Yeah I saw that in the 1st period.
**** Ovechkin

Somebody needs to knock the snot out of a bully caps player.
Luckily I'm not a coach, my team would be running some bounty gate **** on Washington.
