Lot of caps fans in this area. I was super shocked. Lots of resale tickets were going for face or hust above.
 
Caps were pretty much sleep walking that first period but they somewhat woke up. I think the 3rd will be flat out hockey playoff greatness. I think whoever takes this period will take the series.

Almost looks like Vasilevskiy will have to hold the lead in the 3rd.

Another inch of goal post and it would only be a 1 goal lead.
 
Well that was intense at the end. Nice W! One more and you're in the final and I get to laugh at the caps.

One upside to my team not being in the race. I definitely do not miss those empty net situations.

Still think the Caps have the ability to outplay the Lightning. Just have to play a complete game. I hope they win game 6 and force a game 7. Although unlikely I hope the Jets win today too. More games to watch the better.

Also kinda nice watching Hockey with no emotional investment since the Pens are out.
 
It would be great to see the Bolts win on Caps ice tomorrow night and send Ovechkin, his band of ******** and their annoying as hell radio announcer to their off-season without a whiff of the Cup.

Wanted his name on the cup with the Pens.

Hope VGK gets it. At least they'll be next to the Pens if they win.

Bolts cannot get to complacent.
Come out how they did on Saturday and they should be fine.

Gotta stay out the box. The caps are not some magical team.
Bolts are faster, gotta utilize.

I want a TB/VGK matchup cause I don't mind whoever wins the cup.
