NHL 2017-2018 season(other teams)

Color me not surprised. The Caps are the greatest choke artists in professional sports.
 
The Caps played better than the Bolts last night but Vasilevskiy was the difference. Look at the shot totals lol. And the great 8 missing all those grade A chances helped too.

Tampa still has to play better to win this series IMO.
 
Well, they got it to 2-2 even though they were badly outplayed for long stretches. At one point during the broadcast that, they said the Lightning went nearly 20 minutes without a shot. Damn. Vasilevsky was awesome. Tampa's PP is just below 50% this series. That is sick.

To me, the difference in the game was cashing in on the other teams' mistakes. Tampa did. Washington didn't.
 
The Craps outplayed the Pens the past two years and still lost. This year, they finally got them, but it's not unlikely for them to lose a series when they outplay their opponent. Vasilevskiy can steal the series. He's playing very well, TB needs a win at home!
 
Well, this is where we find out. Is this the same old Caps? Up 2-0 heading home, just to give two games away. We will find out who the Caps are in the next three (if it goes that far) games.
 
It's been a fairly even series so far. Seems like when one team shows up, that's who wins.

The Caps are pressing hard every game. I think Tampa has to continue to step it up in order to prevail.

It really hasn’t been Caps have outplayed them in three of the four games

Tampa looks like the Pens last year.
Washington outplaying the opponent but running into hot goaltending.


Tampa has a high chance. Washington is hurting themselves with penalties.
Play hockey, avoid the extra curriculars and Tampa should have it

NHL officiating strikes again. "Miss" a deliberate cross check to the face that draws blood, call minor, inconsequential retaliation. NHL officiating is a joke. Just like the call last night when Wilson tied up his guy, then took a dive. **** is weak, makes the games almost unwatchable.
 
May just be playing to see who loses to Vegas.

TB and VGK only play the physical game if needed.
I doubt VGK would deliberately deliver cheap shots.


If my team was not so darn fatigued, I'd be pimping the hell out of them. Tampa is doing good.
Gotta tweak up the 5 vs 5 play a bit

Officiating has been bad all playoffs.
Nhl has their off season cut out for them after this season.
 
Saw that at start of season Vegas had 500 to 1 odds of winning cup. Whomever dropped money on that has to be getting excited..haha.

I think If the Caps stay out of the penalty box I think they can still win the series. Seem like everyone is already writing them off which I don't understand. Well I do given the history and all but I still cant help but feel like this Caps team this year is different. Like I said before something clicked after the two losses to Columbus and they put Holtby back in. In a nutshell we will most likely have 3-2 2-1 games from here on out and it comes down to who has the best goal tending between MAF Holtby and Vasilevskiy. As much as I like the Jets I think they are done.

As of right now don't see how anyone can beat Vegas the way MAF is playing.
 
Looks like it will be Vegas vs the east winner. As much as I like the way the Jets play, something magical is happening with Vegas. It will take a damn miracle for Winnipeg to pull this out. Fleury gonna win another cup back stopping what was thought to be a collection of stiffs. If they make it, I will root for them. Fleury is a good guy, can't get mad at him winning anything.

I think it’s bullshit that they got to cherry pick their players, almost like an all-star team. But I will root for Fleury to win if they play the Craps.

Has anyone been able to seriously put a good clean hit on Ovechkin? That guy is skating around like a freaking wrecking ball and he needs to be laid flat out. Fn commie *******
