NHL 2017-2018 season(other teams)

I hope VGK contends for years to come.
The league needs the nashville's and Vegas' on board. Awesome exposure.

On a conclusive note to this season.
An expansion team and the 2nd round caps in the final.

Ovie hoisting the cup is a rarity. Lol

Happy for these guys. Yeah **** Wilson....blaa blaa.....man those guys busted their ***** for this and they deserve it. Ovi is a legend. Hope to see the Penguins beat their ***** again next year and get back to the Final and get that cup back.
 
Holtby should have been MVP. At the least he should have been the second guy to take the cup. He was like the 7th or 8th guy. Wonder what they will do for a coach next year.
 
Eh, Ovie deserved one. Cant help but think the Pens would have had a golden opportunity to win 3 in a row had they not had the injuries and managed to beat the Caps.

Now we get to shift our attention the mediocre floundering Pirate's....Yay!

Not in the least...haha. I watch hockey to see the Pens. I watch football to see the Steelers. After they're eliminated I really have no concern. I do however find someone to root for on a scale of who I hate less. I'm the ultimate homer.

yeah, they got their turn, finally got past the Pens and Ovi got the anchor off his back

now the Caps can slink back down to the bottom

Hopefully they sign Trotz to an extension if Trotz feels up to it.

I was actually surprised at that too. From the time he came in to replace Grubauer in the Columbus series it was a different team.

I dont think they would have got past the Jackets with Grubuer in net.
 
Trotz is going to get paid. Rumor mills say Islanders. I wouldn't doubt it. They are desperate to turn that franchise around.

I agree with Holtby being MVP. Politics made that decision. Some how Russian collusion had to be proved.

Wasn't bothered as much as I thought.
I hate the craps with a passion, but Ovie's reaction was pretty great.


I wanted VGK to pull through.
MAF, Engelland, Reaves and Marchessault/Karlsson grew on me when I wasn't watching the Pens.

Steelr4evr said it best that we only root our boys.
Vegas changed my opinion this season lol. Definitely a team I'll root for when they don't play the Pens.


The rest of the nhl can suck it

Did anyone else on Washington enjoy it? Wasn't sure because NBC only had a camera on Ovechkin. But like you, it didn't bother me much. They were clearly the best team this year and it showed.

Yep, the Caps did a good job shutting them down, but that Vegas team was a big disappointment in the Final.

Everyone on Washington looked relieved. I watched the celebration.
The focus was Ovie. Definitely a monkey off his back and finally climbed the mountain moment.

Idk if you heard the story on Oshie, but he handed the cup to his dad who is diagnosed with alzheimers. I thought that was pretty cool.
 
I thought Ovie's reaction was pretty cool. He was almost like a kid at Christmas with the cup a couple times. The whole team for that matter. Oshie's was amazing too. I have to admit I felt bad for Ovie all these years that the Pens and Crosby had his number. Will be interesting to see how the team come's out and defend's their championship next year. Ovechkin was definitely a more complete player this year than he ever was.
 
I don't agree with Ovi as Conn Smythe winner. Should have been Kuznetsov. If it weren't for him, Caps don't win.
