Not spectacular numbers but efficient and I’ll take it. The int was not on Ben since AB wasn’t where he was supposed to be.

Little concerning on the two overthrows to MacDonald and the one to LevBell on 3’rd and 2 but other than that, not a bad recovery game.

Again with the silly play calling on 1st and goal and we’re lining up passing on first down. Why? Good scenario for Nix and Watson.

Does that mean we can't count the TD for Ben?

mucho props to Ben for his heady play today. Keep it going, old man!

He was solid, if we can run like that it takes the pressure off him. Had AB not inexplicably stutter stepped early on Ben wouldn't have thrown a pic today. On to the next one.

Ben's play today was VERY average. Want context? Josh McCown looked much better today than Ben.

If he didnt have the best WR and RB, who knows what today looks like.

He was also should have been INT. on that TD throw.

This is not the game that Ben deserves props. Still waiting for his coming out party.

Find a new forum. Ben played well and just beat the best team in the NFL on the ROAD.

For the most part, he made good decisions and I don't think he was as inaccurate as in previous games. That is, really, just my perception, though, rather than looking thru each play.

One of the best WR's in the game made a great play. I said he was solid, he was 17-25, and after last week that's a bounce back. His days of carrying the team could be over. With all the talent around him and a young swarming defense that may not be a bad thing for us.

How about Le'Veon Bell, coach?

This is a STEELERS forum. Not a "I have a big ole boner for Ben Roethelisberger" forum.

I want to see the Steelers win, which means getting our best player(s) the ball as often as possible. And, sorry to say, Ben is no longer our best player.

Agreed. If the INT wasn't on him, then the TD isn't his either. Shoulda been an INT, the TD was a result of a bad play by the DB, luck, and an amazing play by AB

That being said, defense MUCH more impressive than last week, and we got in the end zone. I'll take the W but still tons of room to improve

So he can be the second or third best player, who gives a ****. I just want to win, and really that is all that matters.

Nothing else.

He hasn't been for a minute. And that's alright.

He played very well. For once Haley called the right plays. Even a run on 3rd and 9...don't do that again Todd, but it worked.

All our back ran well.

We've got a powerful OL with pulling options....but Nix and McDonald are excellent blockers and so is Ju-Ju. Match this vs a nickel D, and we have our way...

"All our backs ran well."

Lmao

Geez! Calm down! We won against a team that hadn’t lost in 5 games and in their house. For three quarters they were shut down.
I didn’t say Ben was spectacular but efficient. He did nothing that would have cost us the game. Sure he missed some throws that I pointed out but who doesn’t.
We’re 4-2 on top of the division and could be tied with KC next Sunday since they have to play on a short week Thursday night in Oakland.
Life is much better this week men.

So almighty yinzer, what do you suggest we do? We just played week 6, we are 4-2, lead our division, are currently sitting at the 3 seed if the playoffs started today. We gave LeVeon Bell 32 carries today to Ben's 25 pass attempts. We won the game...

So by all means, lets start Landry right? Or do you feel Dobbs is the better option on the team right now? You see, Ben plays QB, and unless we start running the wild cat offense, Ben is going to touch the ball on EVERY OFFENSIVE PLAY. And he's getting the ball to our playmakers. As mentioned before, Bell 32 carries 179 yards, Brown 8 catches for 155. That's what ALL QB's do, is get the ball into their playmakers hands. He didn't force things today, he took what the D gave him, Haley called a pretty good game (aside from one redzone trip). Does Ben HAVE to go 20/20 350 4 TD's to get any recognition?

He made big plays, how about 2nd and 19 and he hits Brown right at the sticks, or how about pinned at our 1, and he play actions to McDonald for 26 yards, putting it right on the money. Or how about 3rd and 7 on our 30, and he hits JuJu in the middle for 15 yards and another first down. I'm really not sure what you're complaining about. I'm wondering if you even SAW the game, or if you're just going off of the game stats on ESPN as some users here have been known to do. But hey, Josh McCown looked better against THE WORST DEFENSE IN THE LEAGUE... and get ready for this part....HE LOST!!!!!

I like this game. Matt Ryan played better, Lost to the Dolphins. Mathew Stafford played better, Lost to the Saints. Joe Flacco...just kidding, he sucked AND lost. Ryan Fitzpatrick played better, Lost to the Cardinals. Blake Bortles played better, Lost to the Rams. Cam Newton played better, Lost to the Eagles. These are just some of the QB's that the league deamed to be the best QB of their respected games, and still managed to lose. Ben did not lose today.

"All our backs ran well."

Lmao

Well to be fair Watson did get the one 1st down and Conner ran well with a few touches.

Not that Bell's game wasn't all that and a bag of dougnuts.

"All our backs ran well."

Lmao

Did you watch Watson pick up a key first down, and Conner run it twice for 7.0 yards a carry? They all ran well.

Has nothing to do with them. Has everything to do with your refusal to just say Bell was the best player on field

The 2016 NFL mvp lost at home to Miami, only scored 17, they should bench him uh?

Patriot's defense might be one of the worst in the league. Ben was solid today, he'll start rolling eventually, just wait.

Yeah AB made a great play, but the genius OC goes empty set on 3rd down and short and we run deep routes, KC was blitzing, damn we beat the best team in football b their building and you guys still want to ***** about him. The ****** play calling did our passing game no favors in the 2nd half
