read that WR Palmer got 36M / 3 years. Isn't that too. freaking much for a #3 ?

No question that there’s value available. I’m falling into the day one free agent blues which has been a tradition.

You are assuming that Fields wanted to stay, I think he saw enough and kept his mouth shut and just left without entertaining ANY offer. Now maybe if he got no offers in the first few days, he might feel differently. This is exactly what we saw from Rudolph.
 
Still hoping for a Hargrave signing for minimal money.
 
Sounds like Najee is on his way to the Chargers. Going to Jim Harbaugh and that offense is a great fit. Harbaugh knows how to develop a great running game. I hope it's a huge contract to net the Steelers another compensatory pick for next year.

The last two years has been really good moves on paper. Now they didn't all turn out great. But I agreed with most. I've scratched the little hair I have left off my head today. Just one trash move after another.

Why? he played well this year. They drafted him in the fourth got a lot out of him for the pick and from what I see we will net a 3rd back for him next year. I don't see the issue.
