No this isn't an officiating lost us the game. We did that all by ourselves with HORRIBLE play, play calling, lack of adjustments, lack of preparation, etc. We'll have a million threads dissecting the game, this is just something different.

Anyway, how can you review a play, bring the HEAD OF OFFICIALS LIVE on the air, have him IMMEDIATELY say the call will be reversed with no hesitation, explain why, only to have the official say the complete opposite and give no explanation what so ever on the call.

How does that happen, and how can you claim credibility when that DOES happen? It's absolutely ridiculous how there is so much variation between officiating crews around the league. I'm completely blown away by that. Had this been a close game, and that call determined the outcome, you could have expected it to be the hot topic all week, fortunately for the league, it happened in a blow-out where most fans had turned the channel to watch something else.

This officiating fiasco is off the freaking charts. Games are being officiated so ineptly and one-sided that it threatens the validity of the league.

I thought the same thing with Carey. It was an easy call that wasn't made.

Officials had some bad calls but they had nothing to do with steelers getting stomped on.

Well, that didn't take long to happen.

I figured half the people would click the thread and not read the first post, it wouldn't be the first time it's happened on the board. Just thought I'd point him in the right direction, since I started out by saying that in the first place.

..******* games are rigged or heavily slanted. ******* ball bounced right off the ground hands are out wide. It's clear as day. Some of this personal foul stuff is phantom as well. It's made for tv bullshit entertainment. The WWE and NFL are close to the same. I've felt that way since 2001. It's all bullshit and i've seen nothing to make me change my mind.

We got our lunch handed to us but some of what you saw not called is hard to explain when you turn the channel and see calls made. No excuse for getting stomped on but officiating is taking a great game down.

Watching other games and it is pretty universal. The product is getting hard to watch. There is a flag thrown on the majority of contested passes and hard hits against the favored team. The NCAA should give the NFL some lessons on how football is supposed to be played. The NFL has become NASCAR. They had a decent product, then totally destroyed it by changing the rules to appease the casual fan. ******* fantasy football league.

The "must be conclusive" rule needs taken out of replay. The interception call today was a perfect example of why. I think everyone thought the ball hit the ground but the ruling on the field stood. That's instant replay not working.
