Just ran across this. Dick Cavett gives Kirk Douglas an opportunity to talk about John Wayne's politics, and he would have none of it. Very classy redirect. Would be nice to see some of that civility these days. Go to the 1:25 mark if you want to go straight to it.

Unfortunately, his apple fell very, very far from the tree, rolled into a ditch filled with skank water, grew into the biggest A-hole ever, and is now lecturing all of us on how we should live our lives and spend our money.
