Penguins 22-23

Whose fault is that? It’s not just the players. This team is full of organizational rot. Not sure how you hire a guy to build your team when you watched him ruin your cross state rival. If any of Burke, Hextall or Sullivan have a job after this season it’s a travesty.
The team has been showing cracks since their last cup win. Even in 2017 when they won the back to back cup. They had flashes of what they are now.

Rutherford started well, but he went all in and ruined the future. That said Hextall isn’t the guy based on history.

Given the unpredictability in a sports season. I give benefit of the doubt. I don’t know what to make of it. I don’t even know what to say. If these guys have a job after all this. Well that’s on the Pens organization.

As a fan, I’m disappointed. But from a practical perspective, what can we do really?

Rutherford? This goes far beyond Rutherford. Shero did the same as did Patrick. They sold the future of this team, betting on guys that we’re going to age out, and they are aging out. It got us a few cups, but the time to move on and start rebuilding has long since passed. The Pens are old. Too old to compete for a cup. Time to clean house.

Elvis has just left the season. They're not a good team. If you can't win at home against a **** team with your season on the line, then you just don't have it.

I'd can the Flyer GM first, then go get a ******* goalie. I'd give the HC next season the right this ship or he would be gone too.

I don’t even know what to say.
No fracking way you said that. It's not scientifically possible. Must be a cold day in hell that's for sure. ;)

Under Rutherford they did get younger. Sullivan’s early years was an influx of youth.

A lot of nhl teams have the same mindset like the Pens. Detroit, LA, Chicago are all examples. They’re old/struggling or rebuilding teams now.

The Pens are going to have to rebuild eventually. That’s obvious. But honestly, what can we do sitting here?

I like Mike but I don't see where he has his teams consistently ready to play especially against scrubs. Maybe nobody can coach this team, that's for much more intelligent hockey minds than me to decide but the buck has to stop somewhere. If he's fired, I won't lose any sleep.

Lol.

Eh when you have kids and get locked down by a government for a year and half. You develop a perspective of life.

I don’t know a lot of you guys in person. But I enjoy coming in a talking/ranting/raving like family.

That’s the best I can say in regards to why I’m a fan. Aside, it’s hard for me to get too emotional over pro teams anymore. It’s created camaraderie for us. That I’m thankful for. That’s all I’ll say. I’m getting old lol

Thankfully the NHL or the Pens are not like the Steelers when it comes to coaches.

When **** needs changed, **** gets changed.

You might not admit it, but you know it makes it feel better.

Drinking a beer or 4 is nice.

Having you guys around to ***** with another season is always like celebrating a birthday. In that we’re all together for another year

It's a connection to the motherland for me. That and a little living vicariously. I really like winning A LOT..lol.

I just hate losing. It's way more enjoyable and the high of watching the team win it all is awesome. It's a great drug, but just like any drug it wears off and you need a fix pretty soon.

I won’t argue with you guys there. Especially for a lot of you guys from Pittsburgh. I have a sentiment for UGA in that regard.

The Steelers and Pens were constantly on national tv. So it was easy for us out of market to pick a team.

Jagr’s mullet was my lure in
