I tried to catch some of that game before I fell asleep. MAF didn't look good. Canes overtime win was fun. Panthers planting that seed of doubt in the Bruins fans was fun too. We ***** about Pens turnovers but the Bruins said hold my beer last night. I would have stroked out over some of those lol.

I read online that Columbus, mainly Gaudreau, screwed themselves over by winning that OT game in Pittsburgh. If he had just shot over the glass in that breakaway, Columbus had a 25% chance at drafting Bedard...this generational talent. Instead, they now have a 12% chance. In a meaningless game you ****** yourselves over and proved why you're the worst team and possibly organization in the NHL.

How about those Devils? Hard to believe after those games they lost at home they were able to right the ship as young as they are. Kraken might boot the defending champs? Hockey is a weird sport sometimes. Teams can get hot or cold and you never know what might happen.
Goaltending is even more important to a hockey team than great pitching in baseball..
You would have thought the Rangers had a huge advantage at that position. Sheshterkin stood on his head last night or that game would have been a laugher. The Rangers look slow and defeated. And Schmid is doing a pretty good impersonation of Murray right now.

That'll be a heck of a series with them going up against Boston. They might have the size and speed to outlast the beating they'll take and also be able to dish it back out. What I wouldn't give to see Marshand doubled over after he picks one too many fights.
I am sure that was my cousin from Baaaastan!!Rangers gone, Islanders gone, Bruins gone = much more enjoyable playoffs.

I've only watched small chunks of games thus far. I have kept up with all stats each day. I swear the NHL want all of the matches to go 6-7 games.
The head scratcher is Boston. I think it would be hilarious if they won all of those regular season games just to get bounced in round 1...haha.

Well we got one New Yawk team dispatched, and the other is on the ropes tonight. Hopefully the Devils can close the deal. They need to take it to the Rangers from the first puck drop. Don't let them get any momentum. Finish them.
And there has to be some serious puckerin going on in Baaaastan right now. I bet the tension is so thick tomorrow night you can cut it with a knife. Be about the same if the Leafs lose tonight and end up in game 7..

I read where the Pens signed Nylander today to a 1 year deal. He seemed to provide a good spark last season. Hope he keeps it going.
