Heck, this story goes back to when Lemieux played. Sure, at times they beefed up but over the last 20 years, it has been few and far between.
Who cares if he was screwing around with some sportscaster chick?
A lot of people were pissed because he and the sportscaster chick were married to other people at the time.
It akin more to a celebrity tabloid gossip type of thing than actual hockey. I think he also had a file against him for supposedly sleeping with an underage girl. I don’t think it amounted to anything, but we all know the Pens try to stay away from those stories.

They got away from that model and couldn't get out of the first round.
Washington bullied them in 2018. The Pens played enough to win the series, but Washington not only matched the Pens skill, but utilized Wilson.
Just my opinion, but if Reaves and Cole were not moved that year. I think the Pens beat Washington and perhaps have a legitimate shot at the 3peat.

Yep...once they traded away their enforcers and replaced them with the likes of ZAR, they were done. No way in hell Trouba would have finished last year's series if we had an enforcer or two.. Ergo, he wouldn't have done what he did to Sid if there was going to be retribution. It's simply a huge chess match when you get down to it.
Watched a little of the Bruins and Panthers last night. Bruins fans already chanting we want the cup in game 1 lol.

Well you can condone it if you like but that second allegation if true puts him in serious shitbag territory for me.
I'm not condoning anything. I just don't think it's the right move to cut ties with a quality player because he's an adulterer. Probably a quarter of the country falls into that category, if not more.
By the way, the NHL found no evidence to substantiate any of the allegations of sexual assault against Ian Cole. So I guess you would have condoned getting rid of Ben Roethlisberger way back in 2008? Since he was accused of being an alleged "shitbag," right?

I was just stating the facts that he was accused of that crap on the other team he ended up on after he was traded from the Pens.
Maybe Sullivan didn't like it? Maybe he didn't even know? It's all speculation anyways.
