Hellfire seems to have stabilized the shipThis is a super odd game. We are actually playing good puck. Jarry not so much.
Magnus. It's Latin for "Great". He's huge, so . . . .

Too bad we don't have a consistent goalie. You never know what to expect from night to nightJarry disappears at times. This is one of those times.
Definitely frustrating to watchYeah, this is sucky.
I have a feeling Sully might be gone soon
Well, he’s running a system that the majority of his players simply do not fit. On top of that their 4 best players are dinosaurs by NHL standards and once again the contributions from the bottom six are non-existent. Goaltending is abysmal most of the time. They do not have a recipe for success at the moment. They either need different players or different coaches running a different system. There is enough talent on the roster.Yeah, this is sucky.

Dubas seems to be a pretty no nonsense guy. It'll be interesting to see how much leash he gives Sully. Granted there's a lot of new faces but we're seeing the same inconsistency that we've seen for years. The common theme is the core players and Sully. Sid and co are not going anywhere.Yeah, this is sucky.

They need to play a more cycle type of system rather than speed. The talent is there but the system does them no favors. Their strength is puck possession and passing. If Sully were to stop being stubborn and strategize more to a cycle type of approach. Sure it’s boring north & south. But it would lessen the guys giving up odd man break aways and give the star guys and even the bottom lines a rhythm to be imWell, he’s running a system that the majority of his players simply do not fit. Never been a fan of his and was hoping they'd go a different direction in net. I don't think they have a chance with him. Sure, he looks great at times but when he doesn't, they are done and that seems to happen in the playoffs much too often. They are stuck with him now unless they trade him or put an impenetrable D-wall in front of him.Jarry disappears at times. This is one of those times.
Guessing that was the plan with the addition of Karlsson and Graves but I haven't seen much improvement on D. They move a lot better when they are playing along the boards and passing. It’s not like they shoot anyways. It would benefit them greatly rather than keeping on trying to forecheck aggressively and trying to get the defense involved. The way they play now leaves no margin for error. When everyone is on the same page they look great but because they have an offensive oriented defense one small hiccup leaves them open for an opposing breakaway.I agree on the cycle. During PP we are statues.
Agree on Jarry. I haven't heard anything, but it would seem obvious that they looked. I guess they saw nothing.
I am pretty sure that getting improved defensive players was the fall back for not getting a marque net minder.Sure Jarry could play better but it’s the team in front of him that should receive the blame as well
