No. Not style points. A recognition that the best defense is a great offense. We play in their end consistently, and the can't pull their goalie. We let them play in our end and they might well score.
Basic hockey.
The problem with the Pens is they get sloppy and turn the puck over in their own end and the are chasing the other way. Geno hot dogs and turns a no look pass over or something. Or get caught pinching up like Bourque pointed out a few times last night.That Leafs team will make you pay when you do that.
I like a team like the Isles that plays solid defense and waits for you to make a mistake but the Pens refuse to play that way. Too many stars I guess.
I just want the power play to come around. I don't understand why its a train wreck when those guys have played together for the most part for all these years.
IMO---time to move malkin and letang off the PP.

too many turnovers and untimely passes...and I feel he is much better at even strength, hell I think him and Letang would be better for the team if they played the PK.
I know Geno and Letang will never be removed...but the past couple of seasons they havnt added value to the PP in my opinion..

Murray had a good run during the cups but he regressed. The Pens have not had a real franchise goalie since.
