Pens gave up a 2025 5th round pick for these guys. Don’t know anything about either of them.

I don’t know what else they can do. They are saddled with bad contracts that have multiple years left with no movement clauses. Aside from Rakell and Rust, they moved everyone they could. Until they can flush the contracts of Letang, Karlsson, Malkin, Graves and Jarry, this team will be what it is right now. Sucks, but as fans we have a few more years of this and I expect it will get worse before it gets better.

They have like 16 games left to play. From the looks of it they can win maybe 3-4 of those games.
That's if they produce offense in the 4-6 goal range. The defense blows chunks.
It's going to be a rough next few seasons and hopefully they can strike gold in the draft or it will be longer.

I didn't see the win today coming at all. 3-1 vs the Wild. Sid and Geno with all of scoring today.
I listened in and caught bits and pieces. Ol 29er was very pleased with Jarry's game today.
Pittsburgh Penguins name and logo is the coolest and most clever in the NHL.
Although Western Pa is not the penguins natural habitat, penguins do belong on ice…and the first three letters in penguins is pen, as in Pen sylvania.
Another fun fact…Pittsburgh is the only city in the country in which all its sports teams wear the same colors. Black and Gold.
Now that is a good reflection of city pride.

Nor did I, but it was a good one. I wish Letang had scored one. That would have been a great story.
He played a great game. The one goal was a soft one, IMO, but he stood on his head most of the game. He does this. He's Martin B for some impossible saves, then he's losing to Wayne and Garth in a street game. It's odd. I hope he gets it figured out. He might not be a bad #2, but we don't have a #1 on this roster. With improved defense we might do enough to win. I hope that is a priority in the coming draft.
That new guy we just got the other day was very good. Can't remember his name. Guy played great defense. I was impressed.
Looking forward to catching tonight's game. They're done so no pressure. Listening to the ol 29er on the radio feed while watching the Pittsburgh video feed. Hoping to see some good things from the new acquisitions and Jarry having a solid game at home. Let's see what happens
