If the rumor is correct that he wanted a guarantee that he would be the starter.....why wouldn't the Steelers give him that? If you are going to throw large amounts of money to him just give him that guarantee. They gave it to Russ and he was here for peanuts. If Rogers steps in they will be giving it to him. Hopefully Fields just wanted to test the market and the rumor was just that. A rumor with no factual truth behind it. Our franchise is being run like a circus anymore.

I was blindsided by Wolf. You knew Tunch was sick, even before they announced as you could hear it in his voice and see the weight loss. I thought Wolf was looking pretty good. I have some precancerous cells in my esophagus I have to watch closely thanks to severe reflux. Things like this hit home approaching 54 particularly after the triple bypass last year.

Appreciate it. Luckily the most recent biopsies were good, and my heart is good. Having a nurse as a wife means she makes me get proactive checkups. She won't go to the doctor for herself but makes me go. I plan on being around here talking **** with everyone for a long time.
