Pickett should play with the 1's vs Jags

I don't have to cherry-pick ****, guy. Rudolph has an 80.9 CAREER passer rating in an era when the league average is well over 90.

You want his last 3 starts? Fine: He has a 1-1-1 record with QB ratings of 70.6, 89.2, and 39.8. That's an average of 66.5, well under his ****** career number. Great point.

Rudolph hasn't improved. You and maybe two other apologists here are among the few who have actually somehow convinced yourselves of that.

I understand that you understand very little. You prove it more and more every day.

How about this. Find me ONE. Just ONE article stating Rudolph hasn't looked the best in camp so far. Just ONE.

In the GAMES he is the lowest rater passer by far. He drinks and dunks and can't help his sorry sell. You talking about practice. LMFAO. Alan Iverson says STFU

So it isn’t a fact that players practice? 👌
Who gives a **** about practice stats ? When the lights go on Rudolph is the worst of the 3 QBs statistically and aesthetically. He doesn't pass the eye test and has been lapped by the field. Hard for you to understand ?

So facts. Trubisky was benched for Nick Foles. Kenny Pickett has yet to throw a meaningful NFL pass… but you seem to be slobbering on his knob.

By lapped by the field you mean his 106 passer rating so far this preseason is like way behind Trabisky’s 108 right?

Care to look at yards per attempt and completion.Capatain Checkdown is awful in both stats as he has been his entire career.

So facts, Rudolph was benched for Duck Hodges, case closed.

I don't know if you are just this obtuse or just naturally a hypocrite.

SO Rudolph gets benched his second season after a grade 3 concussion and doesn't ever deserve another chance. Trubisky gets benched but he definitely deserves a clean slate.

Rudolph outperforms Trubisky and Pickett in camp and preseason and it doesn't matter because it's only PRACTICE. Pickett puts on a nice couple of drives in preseason and is the heir apparent.

All you have done is shown your lack of football knowledge and your obvious shortsighted hatred towards Rudolph.

He sucked BEFORE the concussion and sucked after it.

Rudolph is averaged a disgusting 6.1 yards per attempt and an NFL worst 8.4 yards per COMPLETION this preseason. Of course that is better than his horrible 10 yards per COMPLETION for his NFL career.

By the way Nick Foles throw for 27 TDS with 2 INTS and a 119 passer rating one year. Threw for 373 yards and 3 TDS in the Super Bowl to beat the Pats. . Yeah he is no Duck Hodges idiot.

Ford how does Rudolph taste you nut hugger?

Just to be fair Trubisky is averaging 8.2 yards per attempt and 13.7 yards per COMPLETION while Picket is averaging 7.8 yards per attempt and 9 yards per COMPLETION yet YOU stupidly say Rudolph is winning the competition in game, STFU.

Crickets , sucks when your lies about Rudolph outperforming Mitch and Pickett are outed with stats, eh idiot ?

What are their CAY Completion and Attempt? And yes, Rudolph has been the best of the three.

You tried cherry picking stats to fit your horseshit narrative. You take 4 starts over 3 seasons. Why not his last 3 and show how they rack up against each other?

I understand understanding football to the novice like you is hard and complicated. But trust me Rudolph has improved, everyone that knows football agrees, and the only ones who don’t are begrudging fans that can’t let go of his end of the 2019 season.

That's a neat way to invalidate anyone who disagrees with you. Of course he's improved, but can you honestly say he's improved enough to be considered a starting caliber QB? I can't say yes to that. Based on your posts in this thread, you seem very emotional about this, and part of that I think has to do with your dislike of the Steelers picking Kenny Pickett, who you didn't have that highly rated if I remember correctly. Also, your argument against Pickett is weak, "a bunch of dump offs", God forbid he takes what the defense gives him, makes the right read, places the ball where it needs to be on time for good yac and positive gains, not to mention finishing drives with TDs. Tom Brady made an entire career off of doing that, and yeah we haven't seen everything Kenny can do yet, but to downplay his success so far just comes off as butt hurt over them picking him and your pre draft analysis of him.

This has been my WHOLE point. I DON'T KNOW. NOBODY DOES. I am not saying he will ever be more than a backup. I am saying he came in ready to compete for the #1 QB and by all accounts did an admirable job this offseason. I can't be mad at a guy for what he did at the end of 2019. Water under the bridge in a completely unrelated scenario. In this scenario he was asked to work hard and prove yourself this offseason with Ben retiring. He answered the call. And on top of that even with Tomlin and Co. stating he had a chance to win the starting job and him at least doing enough to be in that conversation, they have disrespected him every shot they have had. And how does he respond? By saying the right things to the media, practicing hard, and putting up a good performance in the next preseason game. How can you as a fan be upset about that?

First, I had Pickett as a high second round pick. So it is not like I hated the pick just thought we could have traded back and still probably got him. Second, I stated a fact in his first preseason games he checked down and dumped off on all his throws. I also stated he made big strides from the Seahawks to the Jaguars pushing the ball downfield more and in fact stated the stats wouldn't show as much since he had two big pass plays called back because of offensive line penalties. Check downs are fine but in the NFL if you don't push the envelope and take some chances and trust your single coverage or smaller windows you won't make it. Rudolph didn't push at all his first year and defenses started feeding on him. It is a learning process. I also stated Pickett is definitely ascending as a passer. And I am not sure what you are talking about with Brady. His CAY/Cmp has been 5.7, 7.1, 6.0 & 6.0 the last 4 years. Mahomes has been 4.9, 6.3, 6.5 & 6.5. Rodgers has been 5.3, 5.5, 5.6, & 6.2. I mean he is right up there with his Carried Air Yards per completion. Down play what success? Preseason and camp? Well, then again why can't I point out the fact that Rudolph has outperformed everyone so far? You can't have it both ways. You can't point to Pickett having a couple good preseason drives and anointing him the heir apparent and then spaz out if I point out Rudolph having a good offseason.

I'm in no way upset with Rudolph, I'm not Wolf. He has performed well this camp and preseason, and I have nothing against him. I wouldn't say he has "outperformed" everyone, because I think they've all 3 played well. I used the word downplay based on your statement "bunch of dump offs", and I mainly took exception with that, and your use of the "anyone knows football agrees with me" canard. Otherwise I have no problem with you defending Rudolph, as most steelers fans are ready to run the guy out of town for no solid reason

You haven't made a single good point in this thread and I didn't cherry pick stats idiot I gave you all the stats and Rudolph is last in all of them.

Funny your mom sucked my knob and every other knob on the street. Must suck your mom is such a *****.

What points did you make? You said Randolph was the best QB in the preseason games yet he is behind in QB rating TD passes Yards per attempt and yards per COMPLETION. He is a POS just like you , congrats. Obtuse would be a huge step up for you, in the old days we called ****** dumb kids a retard. Enjoy.

so he takes what the defense gives him. what a stupid QB for doing that. stupid. we are in a good spot in having 3 QBs that can win a game. stupid to not be happy about that.
