Were one step closer to a new head coach
I lay this game at the feet of one person Ben Rothlisberger. He was horsehit today.
Terrible defensive effort. Mike Mitchell is NEVER in position. Need to have a defense that can keep you in games even when your QB has an off day; because they all do. Haley goes away from the run when it was working early. It was a total clusterfuck after having two weeks to prepare for this team. And, as much as I've been willing to be patient with this coaching staff other than Haley, it falls on ALL of them; including Tomlin.
When we study history, it's the generals who are credited with either winning or losing the battle.

So everyone else played just fine? It's ENTIRELY Ben's fault for not scoring 36 points?
Nearly the whole team looked like ****. The offensive line did not dominate a saints defensive line that was injured. Ben looked bad all game. 2 picks, nothing until garbage time. Poor coaching today. This team did not look like it was ready to play the team they faced. I wonder why after Ben had the hand and wrist banged up they did not pull him for a bit and see what the back up could do. Saints corrected their turn over issue and the steelers created their own mess.
Did you watch the game? If Ben is accurate who knows how the game plays out. Maybe the Saints are forced out of their offense.. I expected the defense to have trouble. They arent that good. My franchise QB i dont expect him to play like ****. Especially when im told he is the reason we should be good.

This doesn't sound concrete enough to say "Ben deserves 100% of the blame."
Why isn't the defense any good? Or the o-line?

That's definitely a no, but Ben being terrible a lot of the game changes everything for us. Early on there were multiple TD chances and we got **** out of them. The defense was alright for most of the first half, had the offense contributed something it might have changed the plan/mojo for the Saints a little bit. It was a frustrating game, but unlike the Jests and Bucs this isn't a **** across the board team like they are regardless of the record.
