Remember the good old Cowher days?

we played soft cushions because that's what Tomlin wanted, I remember everyone saying the game passed LeBeau by, we play to much zone etc. Then he "resigned" went to Tenn and they ran the 4th most man coverage in the NFL with LeBeau.

And there is that one year that we played man against the Pats* in a regular season game and shut Brady down. Can't recall the year.

It is fun...in hindsight. If you were having fun while we got a safety because of the center(cant remember name) on a play where Santonio made an incredible catch off his forearm... the proceeding drive with Fitz running for a TD...and then we start that last drive with a holding penalty...going backwards...if you call that fun I don't know what to say because I was close to a stroke.
Oh, it was nerve racking. I was pacing. I'd go out on the front porch between plays, then come back in for the play. But damn, it was fun watching them go down the field. I think I had gotten to the age in my Steeler fandom that had they lost, it would have sucked, but you realize it ain't the end of the world. In my late 20s, when everything was tight, your struggling to make ends meet and the Steelers were a diversion, they HAD to win. The Dallas loss crushed me.

That was me in 05, born in 78 all you heard about was the 70's, but never got to actually witness a Super Bowl win, the 95 loss to Dallas killed me too.

I was born in '67, so I remember the '78 and '79 seasons pretty well. I can remember the '75 Super Bowl, but after Swann made that catch i went outside and threw the ball over the wire and tried to do that catch. I didn't quite realize the game would continue. I did get back in to see the bomb to Swann and Edwards pick to end it but I remember little else.
