The Vikings do not want him and he knows it...he does not want to go to the train wreck Giants....why would he spend 6 hours here if his only other choice is to retire?
I think all the signs point to him signing.

Not a ****** chance. He's been like 32 and on loaded teams and come up short. So I really don't give two ***** if he lights it up. Still a round one exit at best. He had players in NY too you know. He didn't win sweet FA.
 
Just a bridge to the season after. The OL better pass block exceptionally well or he won't make it 5 games anyway. Don't break the bank on him or just make his contract full of performance incentives.

Rodgers mouth, stubbornness, ego, willingness to throw anyone under the bus, and constant need to have a voice in the media vs. Tomlins ego, stubborn insistence on a run first ball control offense, and lack of ability to control players attitudes and selfishness

Add a side of diva receivers in DK and Pickens

Will Rodgers even be allowed to audible? Ben couldn’t at the end of the his career. It sounds like Russ got in hot water for doing it. How many weeks until this gets discussed on Pat McAfee’s show?

Why neither Tomlin or Rodgers can’t see they are terrible fit for each other and just move on shows their blindness/desperation/egos

There will be a new level of disfunction and drama, hey at least this years journey to a first round playoff beatdown won’t be boring

They won't make the playoffs. There will be a lot of friction. It will be the end for Roger's and another black mark on Tomlins tarnished record.

Allen’s not even on the team, so 3rd string may be tough for him unless he gets dumped by his team and resigned by the Steelers.

Don't move off that value.

But never say you're out of consideration.

If the music stops and there's no other deal to be made, they'll pick us.

It worked with the Fields trade.

But not Aiyuk

We'll see here.

I don't want Rodgers because I don't think it's good cap value. If they do it, I how the structure is good and we can walk away without too much pain after year 1.

A very expensive bridge. If you take a QB in draft do you want him around this petulant child? If you don't its just more likely you will be back in this same 21 st type draft spot.

Or.... this Tomlin led team is only a FOUR TIME MVP, VET SB WINNING QB away from being a true bona-fide elite contender. Rodgers greatness will elevate everyone's play around him. And he will lead us to SB!!!!!🙄

Bottom line is.....will we be able to get another........ Tomlinship?

Tomlin's 3 year to do list:

1. 11 more wins to reach 194(pass Noll)
2. 17 more wins to reach the exclusive 200 win club
3. 3 more Tomlinships(21 straight to start a HC career)

If Tomlin is so interested in getting rodgers, when you factor in how aggressively they went for another #1 WR, maybe, just maybe, coolshades wants to open up the offense because he trusts the vet QB, unlike he did with the carousel before

Oh I totally agree,but more so that Rodgers is old as dirt. People complained that Wilson was too old and slower,well Rodgers has like 6 years on him and is certainly much slower.

I think it's just silly at this point in time to even think about getting any guy like that.

At least they have Mason locked up.I certainly wouldn't go with any qb for more than two years.

As much as we'd hate it, they need to have a down year and move out of the purgatory of constantly drafting in the twenties in round one.
There's no guarantee whomever they draft will be "thee guy" either.

I just don't see the development staff in place for anyone,not just qb. There's no great teachers around at all. That's a bigger problem than any player on the roster.

It's certainly a pickle and sometimes you need to crash&burn, so you can rise from the ashes with a new perspective.

The status quo is a no go,not if you want to add a seventh trophy case to walk by.

It's not going to magically happen by itself.

He's going to get mauled if that ball isn't out in two seconds or under most of the time and the running game is getting those gaudy 1-2 yards a pop on most plays.
