Report: Aaron Rodgers Is At Steelers Facility On Friday

Yes, smallest and cheapest. It's the Rooney way. For years it was being said the the Steelers didn't send any scouts to cover players west of the Mississippi. I haven't found if there was any truth to that. It wouldn't shock me.
Huh. I wonder how they ever drafted Lynn Swann, Carnell Lake, Chad Brown, Joey Porter, Casey Hampton, Troy Polumalu, David Decastro, JuJu, Troy Fautanu, half of this year's draft? I'm not saying you said it, but you have repeated it. It's stupid, and has no evidence to support it.

It's mostly Tomlin. Yeah Rooney allows him to much power, but Khan was just a numbers guru before being promoted, how much experience with players did he really have? Who was conducting the GM interviews? Oh yeah Tomlin, he just hired another yes man. Art needs to grow a set and just fire him. Dan didn't really get that involved in the day to day things, he let the coaches and GM's do their thing, but he hired the right people, and fired them when time was right, like Donahue when he and Cowher didn't see eye to eye. Tomlin is so full of himself and is a control freak and controls every aspect of the football side of things.
I might have believed that more if they reached for a QB like Sanders or Milroe in the 1st this year, along with the more recent drafts. Whether the players pan out is to be seen, but the approach seems different, which seems to show maybe others have more say.

That's the new standard here. Be as good as the status quo of the league.
never said it was the standard it is just the truth. the history of failed QB draft picks is long and brutal league wide. We are batting decently on 1st round QB successes since 1969. TB and Ben were homeruns. Pickett was a strikeout, and Malone was mostly a strikeout although he had a few good games and may have been different if he hadn't blown out his knee. A lot of franchises can't say they have drafted two Hall of Fame QBs. It isn't like there is a long list of QBs we missed drafting over the years that we had a reasonable chance of taking. Drafting QBs sucks.

Back to the original topic, Rodgers, he says he's dealing with personal stuff, which is why he hasn't signed. Then why is he doing a 3 hour show with Rogan, then he's at the Kentucky Derby, then he's at some concert in Texas.
He's stringing them along. I'm at about the 80% or more scale that he's not coming at this point unless it's to tick Bradshaw off.

You got it right. Tomlin is a runaway freight train, abusing his power. He doesn't know what he's doing.

Rogers wants to avoid all the OTA bull s---. His excuse is he has family member/friend who has cancer. Mmmmmm. Yea, how much time is he putting into that? Not so much that he can avoid doing 3 hours of Rogan. Or attend a concert. He speaks as if he's spending 90% of his day by his bed. I don't think so. If we find out who he is talking about, who here thinks it's going to check out as legit?

Tomlin has fully neutered the team offensively and defensively. All aggressiveness has been removed from the team on both sides of the ball. Regardless of the players you have to let them play. The constant running on first / second down, the 2 yrd out routes, refusal to throw down the middle, refusal to use the TE and RB in the passing game more, etc etc. Defensively we don't blitz and have turned minkah into a statue or a run stopping LB. You can blame the coordinators, but ultimately tomlin is in charge of them. If he did not like or approve of the gameplans we wouldn't be running then.
Playing to win and playing not to lose are two different things.

I wasn't saying you were saying that.... just that....that is where we are now. Ownership is happy with that and that's all that matters.

What a joke this is becoming, as long as Tomlin gets his guy.
And then Clown-lin will get all the excuses that go along with zero playoff victories to go along with his huge failures. Weare already 7 years in without a playoff win. There are 20 other coaches with better playoff wins better than that. But we keep the fool so well paid, it's a sick joke.

He will sign on Sunday. I keep telling you guys this.

a man in a suit is sitting in a chair with a book in front of him and the website sharktankgifts.com is visible

Apparently someone close to Rodgers is battling cancer, but that does not mean you can't go out and do things. Fully committing to a team is a lot different than having random activities here and there. With that being said I also do not think Rodgers wants to do OTAs or training camp. To me this is reason enough to not sign him. If you cannot fully commit for whatever reason then that is not fair to the rest of the team. I would understand if he was a 10yr vet on the team, but you can not just show up without doing the prep work and get good results

Be careful what you wish for, the next one could be as incompetent as the last one.

Don’t live in your fears……………. The Dan 2.0 will surpass his dad.

It just take3s getting rid of the Tomlin and things should get better. I reasonable coach that holds a modern day criteria of X’s & O’s, with a little disciplinary to go with it. Trust his coordinators and don’t hire friends.

Not asking for much………………… am I ?

Salute the nation

Currently in the Steelers' longest stretch without a playoff win since Chuck Noll was hired in 1969.

eat a dick cumguzzler
Come on, @Superman . Is this the kind of complete filth we can expect from a moderator? This guy has no business here and is abusing his privileges by trying to bait those he doesn’t like so he can ban them. He’ll ban me for this and keep abusing his rights. What a farce.

Complete filth did he not bathe?

Did you do the sniff test?

Do you have ban phobia?

🤭

To be fair, you can’t show up, do ALL the prep work and get GOOD results when operating in the Tomlin scheme. It’s built to produce mediocrity and has quite a track record of excelling at that.

Rest assured Rudy and Will are present, putting in all the work and won’t blink when called upon to achieve the standard.
