Uh huh. His "emotional apology" came after his agent said.... "Uh, AB. If they suspend you this week, you're ******."

You want to know if he's truly sorry? Suspend him week 1 and see if he handles it with grace and composure. Odds are his emotional apology will turn right back in to a "You're a ******' Cracka" tirade. On the other hand, if they suspend him week 1, they retain all the power and if he responds maturely and says, "Yep, I deserve that." Things may be salvageable.

But we all know the Raiders are going to do the same thing Pittsburgh did and ***** out.

There ya go. Continue to ensure Antonio Brown that he can do whatever he wants and ultimately suffer no consequences.

Did he uh, add Derek Carr and the Raiders back to his twitter friends list?

This is total bullshit. Talk about a double standard here with the cracker remark. If the reverse would have happened with a white coach using the n word to a black player all hell would break loose.
**** this pos and the NFL should now step in and take action since this now is a direct horrible reflection on the league.
Suspend him forfeiting salary for half the season and tell him he must seek counseling before he can be reinstated. If he threatens to retire, oh well, see ya!

Lol imagine if Ben called Tomlin a racial slur and threatened to punch him... do you think he’d play another game in the NFL?

If the Raiders are stupid enough to let this dude back on the team for game one then they deserve all that comes their way.
If Mayock has any respect for himself he will tender his resignation the moment this douche steps on the field. Let that smug little ******* Gruden do both jobs, cause that is basically going on anyway.
This horseshit about team captains standing by him is pathetic. If any of them were being true to the position they would press for his suspension at the least and show that no one player is above the team, especially when it comes as a result of threatening violence and using racial slurs as a way to communicate.
Drew Rosenhaus must have sore knees after this week. Money drives everything......I would have kicked AB to the curb out of respect for all my other clients and my own reputation.
Sickening watching this crap transpire.. Where is Roger Goodell in all this crap.

Crazy....if I was Mayock, I would tender my resignation. Watch this stuff spiral when his dollars are guaranteed. Dumb move if they play him Monday.

The amazing thing is, if Antonio Brown is active week 1, he is GUARANTEED just about 14 million dollars. All he has to do is show up for the game active and he can get "turf toe" in warmups and he still gets every penny of his 1st year contract and Rosenhaus can argue for year 2 money as well.

The Raiders HAVE to suspend him or they lose every shred of control they have over him.

Watch them suit him up.

The crazy dumb thing is, they can't suspend him AFTER week one if they let this slide, because they clearly made a ruling and decided it wasn't worth suspending. Thus, no conduct detrimental to the team.

At least we don't have to listen anymore to how the Steelers let him go full diva. Even Tomlin had a shred of dignity. It seems Gruden and Mayock showed up to the party without the lube.

I just took a look at some posts on a Raiders forum and all the posts I read were about who they should call up to the roster to replace AB or something supporting Mayock and suspending him.
The Davis family are a weird bunch though .... so nothing would surprise me either way

Not to worry, he'll do something else. Ryan Leaf thinks AB doesn't want to play anymore -

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">It just seems like <a href="https://twitter.com/AB84?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@AB84</a> doesn’t want to play football anymore. All evidence points to that. I can completely relate to his behavior. I behaved the same way...playing the victim and I never had near his talent. Personal accountability is such an attribute. I hope he finds it soon</p>— Ryan D Leaf (@RyanDLeaf) <a href="https://twitter.com/RyanDLeaf/status/1169651836875182081?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 5, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

For everyone saying cut him and dont pay him think long term. Players side with players. Most will feel AB got a raw deal and who will want to-lay for a team that cheated a player out of 30m. Not a good look. Also what's the BEST thing for the team as far as wins/losses? AB on the team is better for games, better for practices, the team has a better chance of success WITH AB than without. So you gotta do what's best for the team. Thats get AB on the field every week motivated to play. Dennis Rodman was a headache right? When he went to Chicago people said he would NEVER be able to play with Jordan...they won rings. Phil knew that he had to manage him differently. Kobe. Great. Pain in the ***. Phil knew how to manage him. Shaq, Lamar Odom, Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, all head cases and great players, but Phil knew how to motivate them. Athletes today need more than the drill sergeant routine, some need to be mentally challenged differently. AB is that guy and if Mayock didnt know it, he now does. Gruden already treats him differently. Thats a good thing. Lets get him on the field Monday and beat the Donks!! Oh and they should internally solve this and publicly drag it out until gamete just to **** with the Donks. The Raiders should have a Morale Coach and it should be Charles Woodson. Match his announcing salary and bring him in. He would easily be able to manage the personalities and motivate the divas.
The illusion is strong with this one.

I like the part about "the best thing is to get AB on the field for games and in practice." Has he practiced YET with the team in pads? Seriously has he even ******* run a padded practice? These poor dumb *******. If they think for one moment that Brown is going to about-face after he gets his guaranteed 30 secured... Well, At least Gruden has another 80 million guaranteed.

Gruden just made a statement that AB is back with the team and plans to play him on Monday.
Bye Bye Mayock

And suspended by the league if the team didn't.

Honestly, there would most likely be a player protest against him ever being able to play in the league again.

Oh, make no mistake. What Brown said was absolutely racist. It just doesn't matter.

Gruden is no better than Brown when you allow a player to disrespect your GM not only physically but now we hear verbally slurs you deserve no respect. When your players say they are OK and you do nothing you disrespect your team as well. No wonder the players of today can get away with all they do, teams are scared of them all. The NFL got a bigger black eye today

Has there ever been a bigger trainwreck heading into a season than the Raiders right now? I'm sure there's been something equal or worse , maybe back in the 70's. But if they play AB on Monday night, this team is ripe for spontaneous combustion from this point forward. Will never ever feel sorry for the Raiders for whatever happens next. They embraced this, and Gruden & Mayock will go down in flames, rightfully so.

The nfl can suspend him even if the Raiders don’t.

They won't. You know they won't.

And how would Mayock take that? The NFL will do something even if Mayock's own team refuses to.

Nah. The Raiders have legitimized Brown's behavior. He hasn't done anything wrong.

The Raiders first mistake was giving Gruden a 100 million dollar deal. Their second mistake was trading for Brown.

It seems like Carr is being set up to fail.
