No real clues, but lots of motive. This article thinks the US did it. Interesting.

ANALYSIS: Nord Stream Pipelines Sabotaged, and Only One Country Benefits

It was absolutely the United States. To me there's no question. I say this for two reasons.

1) Shitbird announced it at a press conference like the moron he is. He said if Russia invades Ukraine, we would take it out. Pretty sure it didn't just spontaneously combust.

2) It's starting to get cold in Europe. Russia could use the fuel as leverage to get Germany and the rest of Europe to stop supporting Ukraine. Now Russia has no leverage, because the pipeline is either destroyed or seriously compromised. The United States and Ukraine are the only countries that really benefit from the pipeline being destroyed. Last I checked Ukraine simply doesn't have the capability to pull that off even with our help, and considering the importance of it's destruction to Shitbird's administration, my money says Navy divers, assisted by SEALs, did the deed.

This is a very dangerous game Shitbird is playing. It appears that not only are they trying to send the US into chaos, they are trying to take the rest of the planet with them. The US is a breath away from full on civil conflict on our own soil, and they are apparently trying to kick off WW3. It makes no sense to do any of this in defense of Ukraine, even if they are trying to hide crimes and misdeeds. Is global conflict really worth that? These people are certifiable. I fear for the future my kids and grandkids are going to inherit. Utter madness.

I don't think it was Russia. There is no incentive for them to destroy their own pipeline. Besides, he has the on/off switch, and I feel confident that he really doesn't care if anyone blames him for it.

well, I think the Russians used the "it broke and we can't find parts" argument for some time, and it was working. Plus they have the on/off switch, which is cheaper, easier and still leaves them able to negotiate/bend the Germans. The Russians lost cost, time and opportunity when they had all 3 in hand, so that moves the needle closer to 90/10 for US driven action for me.

Without getting into the whole Biden is an idiot conversation ( he is ) I just for the life of me don’t understand the arrogance,power hungry,stupidity of mankind. Have we learned absolutely nothing through the history of mankind?
How many more innocents have to be murdered because of little dick power hungry men plotting in their ******* rooms. No,I am not naive. I realize life isn’t lovey dovey. But JHC,have we learned nothing?

Big wars can take years to start,make no mistake. This is serious ****. I know I have been sheltered all my life. Conflict free growing up in Canada. My Father,Mother,Grandparents,Great Grandparents,went through untold hell growing up in Europe the last 2 World Wars. Have we learned nothing?

About 15 years ago I went to Kathmandu,traveling around Nepal. I was quite surprised when they had all these frequent power outages. Common occurrence. The whole city would go black. Quite freaky when you’re in a strange place,big city. Parts of Europe might have this to look forward to this winter. If they can’t get the gas for cooking,heat.....the electrical grid will be overtaxed. People are choosing between heat or food. Gas that was 1700 euros per year is now over 7000 euros. Seniors on there pension can’t pay for heat. Winter is coming. These huge factories that need heat to stay productive.....winter is coming. I could go on and on.

My Dad never talked about the war years too much. But the one thing he would say was that you would not believe what people do when they get hungry. When they can’t feed their kids. That’s when the real **** happens. Cutting off heat and power is definitely the first step. Winter is coming.

Putin and I bet that little country named China are probably sitting in their little corner smirking away today.

I read an article that said the company(? Gaspeo or whatever) was under contracts or the like to provide X. This now is a Basis as to why they could not, not Putin shutting it down. Donno.

I’ve seen others Talking about China. End of day there are countless people/counties that believe we did it and their minds will never be changed.

Same and I'm not sure how we'd benefit from damaging the gas line, but what do I know. I did read something that suggested Navy SEAL divers could go undetected and do this at the depth the line was. I hope not. China on the other hand, is just as evil as Putin and they do **** on the regular to stir things up.

We benefit huge by this in so many ways. That’s why everyone is pointing the finger.

This kills Russia gas company. But more importantly his grip on EU on energy in the short/long? Who steps in? Us, China?

And maybe the worst reason is for the Dims to ramp up that war machine. Pump the money.

The last 30+ years have been one of bliss, with the attempt of wealthy Americans to move their liberal democracy agenda around the globe. Most of Europe buys into this notion. Simple globalism, with a benevolent superpower, unchallenged. There really has been only one dominant ideology since Bush the Elder: global liberal democracy, American style, funded by Georg Soros and friends --- and US taxpayers.

That changed with American people, and many other people around the wealthy parts of the world (Italy most recently), becoming tired of the globalist effort and wanting a focus back nationally, locally, on family and on the historical cultural norms. Trump is the global poster octogenarian for this. The new woman in Italy, the one in France, the Hungarian and Turkish leaders, the Phillipino son of the old guy......all get branded similarly because they are nationalists that talk about liberty, cultural values, identity and individuality. But generally, these folks speak plainly. That means the educated, the elite, the monied class are frightened because of the simplicity and the empowerment of the people with simple concepts (life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, for example).

Now the Russians got provoked by Nato because Trump had let them be and Bidens managers could not let that stand. China is watching gleefully from the sidelines. They want Taiwan and most of SE Asia, but can wait 100 years.

So we have the leaders of the free world, with the dumbest of leaders, being moved by an unseen globalist force to reduce identity. They do not want the Germans to make a pact with Russia (see von Bismarck from around 1879), so they had someone take action to ensure that Germany looks West, literally, for energy solutions.

Thank God the Russians really cannot fight or the EU would be ******, again.

The famous line from the great German stateman Otto von Bismarck, from the 1880s-ish, not listened to by that Hitler guy, is something like:

"It is always wise to have a pact with Russia". Germany, needing energy, necessarily seeks Russian supply, endangering the strength of Western alliances. So the US took steps to ensure that didn't happen, by removing the ability for Russia to easily supply Germany.

In case this seems unbelievable, the world's most powerful man, the President of the United States, said this would happen last February.
