I deal with a very large population of Northern Arapahoe, Cheyenne, Lakota and Dakota. They also have personal pride, and no grudges, for the most part. People are people. When people (especially liberals) learn that I have Native American heritage they automatically assume that I have some grudge against our country. I do not. I love this country, and I have done very well living in it. What ever happened hundreds of years ago has nothing to do with me. And what I have learned about my particular tribe is that we were very violent, even to other tribes. We were the Flat Foot Tribe and we no longer exist. I didn't miss spell it. We were the Flat Foot Tribe and lived in southern PA. Anyway, my point is that most people don't care about the past, and just want what's good for their families. And I dont want to be compensated.
From one human to another, great respect.
