Russian Jet fly by US Destroyer

The post was directed at Tibs. You'll notice a common theme. Follow his likes. Follow his comments. The euphoria the man showed when someone - anyone else - echoed a sentiment he agreed with was epic
You are really beginning to lose your ****. Step away from the computer. Take a brisk walk outdoors, get some fresh air. Take a few slow, deep breaths. It'll get better, I promise.

Or maybe - we're all gonna die!

RIVER NEAR YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK BEGINS TO BOIL

The Shoshone River, near Yellowstone National Park, suddenly and without warning started boiling, changed color and began to emit a sulfuric odor on March 25. Nearby witnesses wondered if they were “all going to die.” The current consensus among geologists and other experts is that a portion of the Shoshone River began to boil, located near Cody, Wyoming, and a new Yellowstone vent has opened up.

It’s difficult to say whether or not the recent boiling of the river near Yellowstone is an indication of something concerning or just, as geologists claim to believe, another of many vents related to the caldera doing what they do, as they’ve always done.

Much of our current understanding of the Yellowstone supervolcano has come to light over the last century, and new information and data is being compiled and poured over daily.

Only time will tell whether or not the boiling in the Shoshone River near Yellowstone National Park is part of a bigger trend of geologic change in the region.

Perhaps you should use that time to brush up on current events, as Tim has repeatedly handed you your ***. He owns you on every topic. As do most here... And by most, I mean everyone except Vantard and Elftard. It's fun to watch you three paste eaters get put in timeout so often.

Oops, I forgot about 21Tard and the giant coloring book that he's working on.

Thanks Indy, you're always good for a hearty laugh. Needed that. He 'owns me on every topic' because he holds the same twisted, backwards *** views as you do.

It's clear you also need a time-out. We'll set up some fold-out beds for you and Timmie to take a little nappy nap.

Would you like to point out what was incorrect about that statement? It was America who went into those wars and the rest followed. The war in Afghanistan was in response to an attack against America - who else's war was it if not America's? Iraq - again it was America leading the rest of "the West" into war and Vietnam was one of many actual wars during the cold war period that was basically an America v Communism proxy war - the only difference being that the Vietnam war actually had America's and their allies troops on the ground.

I wasn't making a judgmental comment about those wars just pointing out the exaggerations in Del's statements. The fact that I question the factual basis for a complaint that aid/military support etc is a one way street from America to the rest of the world, no more make me a bleeding heart liberal, than questioning immigration policy makes someone a racist. Seriously a lot of you guys (on both sides of the political spectrum) seem to have a real problem with discussing/debating issues on their merits without having to put a label on someone. But then I suppose only those who are extremely passionate about their political views are likely to be spending time posting them on a messageboard (especially one primarily devoted to football).

Where you were incorrect: "Those were America's wars, no-one else's," Taking that comment at literal, face value is incorrect. We did not go to war alone. We went to war with support and a coalition - a very large coalition in each case. The Afghan coalition:

2 Australia

Obama talked to Putin on Monday. Of course he didn't bring either incident up.

Monday but didn’t raise the issue of Moscow’s fighter jets buzzing a U.S. destroyer, the White House said.

“That did not come up in the call between the two presidents,” said White House press secretary Josh Earnest, who said they had a “rather intense” discussion instead about the breakdown of a cease-fire in Syria’s civil war.

For ****'s sake, they are warning us!
Speaking after a meeting between NATO envoys and Russia, their first in almost two years, Moscow's ambassador to NATO said the April 11 maritime incident showed there could be no improvement in ties until the U.S.-led alliance withdrew from Russia's borders.

"This is about attempts to exercise military pressure on Russia," the envoy, Alexander Grushko, said. "We will take all necessary measures, precautions, to compensate for these attempts to use military force," he told reporters.

Can't wait for Trump.

China denies Hong Kong visit request by U.S. carrier group

r

China has denied a request for a U.S. carrier strike group led by the USS John C. Stennis to visit to Hong Kong, the U.S. Defense Department said on Friday, amid heightened tensions over China's territorial claims in the South China Sea.

The request for the Hong Kong visit by the carrier and its accompanying vessels, which have been patrolling the South China Sea, was recently denied, despite a "long track record of successful port visits to Hong Kong."

Russians Barrel roll over another US Jet. For those opposed to military action when is it time to start firing on these guys. Want to wait till one of our pilots gets killed?

Again both sides used to play these little games back in the day. No need to get into a shooting war with Ivan over childish displays of bravado. What will take place is we will put BARCAPS on all our patrol aircraft and vessels exercising navigation rights in international airspace and sea lanes.

Speaking of airpower

For the first time since 1956, the nearly restored B-29 known as Doc moved under its own power.
