Say Good Bye to Heinz Field

At least the logo is a triangle and fits in with point park and three rivers vibe.

Sorry, always looking for a positive

Don't be sorry because that is by far the best way to go through life.!!! Always find the positive

This is one of the worst PR moves the team has made in a long time. Does this company even have a presence in Pittsburgh or PA and will they even still be in existence in 20 years as I am sure their contract is for 20 years. It's all about the cash (the only positive in this situation) but this name just sucks. I will never learn how to pronounce the name and will never use it. It will always be Heinz Field to me.

UPMC Rooney Field or if PPG and Giante eagele are bidding, Rooney field at PPG or PPG 3 rivers Field Giant Eagle Field

what a shame. For people that don’t live in Pittsburgh,Heinz Company is synonymous with the city.
Did Heinz make a bid for the naming rights this time around? I googled it ,but didn’t find a heck of a lot.

They also bought a business that was owned by Thomas Tull, so there was a connection in place.

Tulco per Wiki

In 2017, Tull founded Tulco, LLC, a Pittsburgh-based privately held holding company.[20] Tulco invests in companies in large industries and helps its portfolio companies apply technology such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and predictive data analytics.[21] Among Tulco’s investments are FIGS, a healthcare apparel company,[22] and Acrisure, an insurance broker that acquired Tulco’s AI insurance business in July 2020 for $400 million.[23][24]

Interestingly if some of yinz remember it has been said the new GM will lean heavier on data analytics.

Unrelated but interesting.

Meh if we were pricks we could start a bad ad campaign…. Start blowing up social media with posts about how its a terrible name for what must be a terrible company, but honestly I don’t know anything about them and maybe they are cool… so ill just call it Steelers stadium and ignore the wishes of tge Steelers lol

"Kraft-Heinz" apparently chose not to bid.

Anyone know how long the contract is? I have a feeling it will be a merry-go-round of names every few years.

The Heinz Barroness must have decided on keeping daddy's money a little bit tighter.

they have a month to get the ketchup bottles down, please dont replaces that with wallets or something corny, I hope Acrisure paid a ton for naming rights, they have a trangle company logo please above the scoreboard make it look cool like each element of steel on each end.

I am guessing between 3 to 5 million per year.

3 would barely be more than they were getting, I hope it is closer to 5mil besides with inflation that is a deal.
You know the Texans get 10 mil per year for their stadium rights? That is crazy.

Texas tea...

Not a good name if you gotta read it twice to know if you're pronouncing it right.
