The most interesting thing to me is that the Dems may end up taking Congress back which would suck, but at least we'd still have the veto power. I can't think of a single prominent Dem who has a chance of being elected president in 3 years. Could be some kind of wild card like Oprah or something but the usual suspects really don't have a shot.

They will get The satisfaction of knowing that if they pitch a big enough fit they can have a political opponent removed from office. They should be real careful about this however because it sets a precedent that could be used against their politicians as well. As a worst-case scenario it could set off a Civil War.

Although it's the Liberal dream, they won't be able to impeach President Trump (gawd I love saying that). To impeach you need evidence of "high crimes and misdemeanors". I haven't seen any evidence of "crimes" and not liking the President isn't enough of a reason. Most Libs are dumb ***** and they've been sharpening their knives since Clinton was impeached, in the mistaken belief that the Republicans impeached him for getting blow jobs, and been waiting for the chance to do it to a Republican President. Problem was that as much as they hated Boosh, he was Mr. Clean. Trump obviously has more dirty laundry but they're going to be awful frustrated if they can't find an actual crime and Trump is the sort that won't let them forget it.

The answer is fairly simple. If you believe Trump is a criminal and mob boss with decades of shady business deals and practices, removing him from office will restore legality and order to the Executive branch. Removing the vulgar, belittling and bigoted Trump with decades of improprieties will restore dignity to the Presidency. Removing the impulsive, chaotic, uninformed Trump will stave off the danger of international conflict and potential for nuclear war. He is a national embarrassment without precedent, he should have never gotten this close to the corridors of power. I just hope he goes peacefully.

And it doesn't matter who comes after Trump, Pence, Ryan whoever. A huge crisis will (hopefully) be averted the moment he's no longer President. Can't happen a day too soon.

In hindsight, you will have plenty of time to ponder how was it possible that you missed all the signs? Trump's left a trail a hints every step of the way. Some are so enamored by what they think Trump represents they simply play the fool and refuse to see what's been right before their eyes the entire time.

Sadly, a BIG chunk of people think that if Trump is impeached that Hillary will be President. Hell, I have overheard that being talked about at lunch by TEACHERS, nonetheless. Again, the premise of the question that Sarge posed was how does the occupant of the White House affect your life? For me honestly it makes no difference, Truman was still President when I was born and none of those 13 individuals have changed my outlook on life.

I can understand that you don't care for Mr. Trump, I don't wave pom poms for him either, but do feel he was the better of the 2 options. What I don't understand is the unrelenting bashing from the media, in hopes that something will stick. I've lived a long life and can't recall any President being subject to so much ridicule from the press. We're now at a point in our country's history where nothing gets done in Washington, and maybe that's a good thing, because everyone is too busy criticizing one another, playing to their base in hopes of re-election.

Time for everyone to get over their emotions and let the man do the job he was elected to do. That goes for any future President as well, doesn't matter what letter follows their name.
