The defense as a whole is a problem if we want to win a SB. Is Heyward now worried more about getting sacks instead of clogging up the run? I don't know. I guess I’ve not been paying attention to this calling out one player situation. Just started reading about it. And apparently it’s been going on for a few games now? My question is. If there is one player that is not doing his job like Cam said,(and apparently others?) why was this particular player not put on the bench? Like instantly?

Or is this all speculation?

I’m saying Heyward did it because he wants it to change, Heyward has probably already tried to do something about it and it hasn’t changed, and is pissed.

Fixing it is as simple as benching the guy which is up to Tomlin. If it’s Sutton there are other options on the roster

Surely Tomlin gets a portion of the blame, but so does everyone else….top to bottom.
But you can’t fire everyone. As in any a part of a business that is not getting the results that are expected , the first one usually to be axed is the manager… in this case the HC.
At least that’s the way it’s been with the business I have been involved with.

This franchise has always been revered as “a model franchise”.

Good point. I would have liked to hear something out of Heyward on AB, but after witnessing AB’s highly erratic behavior maybe Heyward realized that even he didn’t stand a chance trying to reason with a psycho.
