So, who is it?

Life actually does suck when you play golf every M, W and F and go a week where you don't shoot in the 70's.

LOL, nahh, it's still a good week because you aren't answering to anybody. Tomlin is a DEI CLOWNSHOW. The truth doesn't mean you hate your life, LOL. (Laughable).

He is a leader on The field. I don't know about the locker room as I am not in it.

I find it comical than anyone who actually watches the games, think Cam is part of the problem
The defense as a whole is a problem if we want to win a SB. Is Heyward now worried more about getting sacks instead of clogging up the run? I don't know. I do know oir run defense is pourous at times. Are sacks more important to him now? I don't know. Again. If you read my post above. You can't argue his stats. They look good.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t that supposed to be one of Patrick Queen’s roles when signed?

I guess I’ve not been paying attention to this calling out one player situation. Just started reading about it. And apparently it’s been going on for a few games now? My question is. If there is one player that is not doing his job like Cam said,(and apparently others?) why was this particular player not put on the bench? Like instantly?

Or is this all speculation?
Queen blew some coverages it could be him.

But ultimately there is plenty of blame to go around which starts with the HC and DC . As their ship is once again in disarray…

I have to get behind the idea that Cam wasn’t calling out one specific individual, just that not all 11 are on the same page each play.

It’s 100% his job to fix it as the head coach, the fact Heyward is out in the media with it means Tomlin can’t/wont do it and Heyward is going nuclear in the media as a final resort

Bestest coach ever, leader of men lol
I agree that he has the ultimate responsibility, but for him to simply fix it is easier said than done especially for us sitting behind a keyboard.

That’s kind of supported because you implied Tomlin may not be able to fix it, (in bold) by which you unknowingly exonerated him.

So Heyward calling out Tomlin is what you concluded from that story? Getting anti Tomlin sentiment out of a story that isn’t there indicates an obsessive hatred of Tomlin IMO.

I’m not advocating to keep Tomlin, nor am I a hater obviously , just trying to be rational.
He’s been HC for 17 years, had plenty of opportunity. His tenure had run its course and I too believe it’s time for a change.

I’m not saying Heyward did it to call Tomlin out.

I’m saying Heyward did it because he wants it to change, Heyward has probably already tried to do something about it and it hasn’t changed, and is pissed.

Fixing it is as simple as benching the guy which is up to Tomlin. If it’s Sutton there are other options on the roster

Heyward doing this is strong evidence there are internal discipline issues which we’ve seen many times before under Tomlin that has ruined many seasons

Meh.....his stat line looks good. I can't argue that. He never has been a leader in the locker room. Why try to start now? And leaders don't talk to the media to get their message out.

That all said. This defense is a mess. He has blame just as all the players do.
He absolutely has been a leader in the locker room. I have no idea where you can come up with he hasn't. He's been the leader of the team even when Ben was still here.

A leader would have handled AB. I never heard a peep from Heyward during the entire AB fiasco. Not one peep.

Surely Tomlin gets a portion of the blame, but so does everyone else….top to bottom.
But you can’t fire everyone. As in any a part of a business that is not getting the results that are expected , the first one usually to be axed is the manager… in this case the HC.
At least that’s the way it’s been with the business I have been involved with.

This franchise has always been revered as “a model franchise”.
But to we fans, it sure doesn’t feel like it.
Geez now I sound like a Clowns fan lol, even though we haven’t gotten nowhere’s near rock bottom.

Good point. I would have liked to hear something out of Heyward on AB, but after witnessing AB’s highly erratic behavior maybe Heyward realized that even he didn’t stand a chance trying to reason with a psycho.
No one in New England, Las Vegas, or Tampa could.
