I have watched a bunch of games live......probably not as many as you or others....lets say Fields......so you are looking at Fields in the pocket....pressure coming....his first read....2nd read ...3rd read....pressure still coming....you see all of this live in person and come to the conclusion that Fields lacks everything? You know all of his reads? His progression on any given play? Even when Batch breaks it down he states he is only going on hypotheticals. And he has game film to look at. You ate watching live and figure it all out in a blink of an eye. Good for you. Maybe your buddy Tomlin should hire you on to the staff. Couldn't hurt anyways.

TMC showed me how even watching game film could vary in what I saw or what you or Joe Blow saw.

Yep. Read it. You have nfl premium or something. Show us some clips of Fields.......not being as good as Wilson. During every game you post the exact same thing. Show us some clips? Also...is NFL+premium give you different looks during the game when you make the exact claim weekly....or is it something you seem after the game? Curious is all. Seriously though. Show us some clips of your claims of Fields being subWilson. By the way....Wilson has shown nothing since he signed with us.

I talked about Fields and what he did I. This game and how he got better but is still missing some things. Not sure what your tirade is about.

Go back and take past conversations out of your thoughts and read what I said again. Peoples opinions on things do modify over time. You are trying to judge this conversation on past discussions and thoughts.

Did TMC have NFL+premium....while watching the games live? Could possibly make a difference. Maybe.. Possibly....

And can they please defend/cover a slant pass play just once?!? Maybe they don't get to see enough in practice from our offense. Flucko hit them all day.

If they keep putting the same things on film without any deviation. This will happen a lot more. Being unpredictable will carry them farther than doing the exact same thing over and over, but expecting different results.

You have the best pass rusher in the league, move that guy around and take advantage, but disguise it.


They could do so much more with this defense than what they're doing now.

That last statement says it all. They are what they are on defense and when it fails, it usually fails spectacularly.

Not sure why you are saying most of what you are saying. Why were you talking about Wilson? I was simply critiquing Fields play in this game and even complimenting him on much improvement. I spent a good portion of my 20's coaching, and those duties included scouting every Friday night, having to chart and diagram entire games from the bleachers or when lucky the press box. I am pretty decent at looking at the plays live. Much better than trying to watch a normal game feed. Despite his improvement there are still obvious issues that stand out in his game on some plays. He certainly did make great strides in sometimes dropping and just making the throw, but still not every down. He was looking to make down field throws which is great until it gets him sacked. He has to find the right mix of that and also throwing some quicker outlets which he did have at times and ignored. He also is still reluctant to try and throw a guy open over the middle. I am sure some of that is coaching but until he does that, we have a huge hole in our needed game plan. Do you somehow think he is perfect as is and a totally finished product? Quicker decisions would have saved the big fumble as he would have just thrown it away.
