Years ago, Cowher took away play calling duties from Ray Sherman and started calling plays himself. That's what a coach does when he sees a problem. Tomlin is a press conference coach. Fichtner may suck, but Tomlin is allowing him to suck and that's the biggest problem.

look at the Colts missing both starting OTs and they devise a gameplan to help cover up that weakness. What do the steelers do with a weakness? Nothing, The Standard is the Standard. Just keep doing the same thing and assume your substandard player can do whatever is drawn up on the board.

You know the coordinators aren't good when they never even get a sniff for a HC job. Agents can't even toss their names out there because no one wants them.

Would anyone hire either as a coordinator if they were let go today?
