Steelers-dolts game thread - #When3RiversMeetsA4th

I truly believe he wanted the half to be over. He knows they cant move the ball. Ben has come close a couple of times throwing a pick. Tomlin probably didnt want Ben to have the ball . I know it sounds horrible but Tomlin knows he has no offense. Burn3 TOs to get nothing anyway and possibly throw a pick 6 like Ben did in BUF----I think Tomlin was hoping IND would run out the clock themselves.

Living in is fears the ******* retard

Then he's given up in his team, there was no excuse for not calling that timeout! I'd Fire him at halftime for that shir

Imagine if our coaches would have used a timeout with almost a minute left in the half. Just pitiful. Ben isn't playing great but he isn't the reason we lost 3 in a row and why our O sucks so bad.

He's not THE reason but he is a major part of the issues right now.

what a star that Avery Williamson is, nice pick up.

I think they should run run run... Maybe get a first down or 2 and loosen up the D

Hey man I wanted to make sure we had one timeout left if Ben threw a hail Mary and connected. We'd need that TO to bring in the kicker for an extra point. You gotta think one play ahead man. Next question!!!

You should’ve used quotation marks, but I get it. Very telling of the cumulative football IQ of our coaches, though.

If Ben had guys running wide open, he'd look great too.

Tomlin quit on the team not calling timeout at the end of the 2nd, the defense saw it...you watch this is getting ready to get really ugly unfortunately

Defense must be tired again from sitting during the halftime.

Exactly Nantz and Romo were dumbfounded that he didn't call one.
Hey another wide open guy

If that's the case the Ben should not be on the field. If Tomlin can't make that judgement then he shouldn't be head coach of the Steelers.

Hey, you might be right on both accounts. Really.

But you know if Tomlin got fired--which he wont. He won a SB with Cowher's players like 30 years ago so he has a lifetime contract, but if he DID get fired, teams would line up to hire him. That is what I just dont get. His teams collapse at the end of the season most every time.

Rooney wants to be competitive every year so there will be no cleaning house, taking their medicine and winning 1-2 games so they can get a high draft pick like a QB for the next 10-12 years. Rooney wont do that, so Ben's $41M cap hit next year will keep the team in mediocre to bad territory. Tomlin might squeeze out 8-8 and can still say he has never had a losing season and it just keeps going on and on and on while teams like IND gut their team and FOffice and retool/rebuild and look what they have. They sign an old QB to lead a group of youngsters and they might go to the SB. But Rooney wont do it. Just not his style.

Now our defense can't tackle. This game is done.

This defense is really good, they're just tired. That's why guys are wide open all over the place.
