Steelers @ Jacksonville

Pats get embarrassed and the next week they destroy one of the best teams in the NFL.

Steelers get embarrassed and the next week they eek out a win vs the worst team in the NFL, scoring just 10 offensive points.

To their credit , the standard is set at emerassing

Guys just stop arguing with the Idiot. All he is for is to argue and attention..he doesnt even watch the games..he has seen two games this year. If it isnt on national tv he doesnt see it. I fell into again today but wont again. Why argue with somebody who doesnt see the damn games. All he can argue is Tomlin. Which is what he does. Or what someone can do or will do. Never what someone did. Cause he dont know unless we tell what happened in the game thread or the stats from whatever sight he is watching the simulcast.

Did you watch the ******* game? The Bengals looked like complete and total dogshit. I mean, overthrows all over the damn field, couldn't get out of their own way, finally look like they might be getting back into it, fumble away a kick for a TD. It was a slaugher, but it had as much to do with the Bungles being the Bungles as it did the Pats coming out kicking ***.

And for ***** sake, did you just say the Bengals were one of the best teams in the NFL? I mean, I can't have read that right, the ******* never won ****, choke every ******* year in the playoffs, AFC North Championship is the best we can do in the past 10 years Bungles?

Ugh.

Joe

Sure is a lot of mean name-calling in that post.

I've caught three games this year, though I didn't need a single one to note Tomlin's coaching deficiencies.

i'm talking about 2014 where the bengals are one of the best teams in the NFL. Go ahead and rank the AFC teams. Try going by 2014 teams and not whatever year you are stuck in.

The Pats destroyed them. They came out with perfect execution, with something to prove, and they were fired up for the opportunity to redeem themselves.

Take away the Bengal mistakes and that was still a convincing Pats win.

Take away the Jags mistakes and the steelers are white knuckling their way to a close win vs the worst team in the NFL.

A gnat is a giant to you You are maybe the stupidest poster on this board other than antdrewjosh

SAME PLAY: With third-and-2 at their 44 with 3:08 remaining, the Steelers came out with the same play with the same run/pass option that failed last Sunday on third-and-5 against Tampa Bay with 1:44 remaining. The only difference is all three receivers were lined to the right, not to the left. This time, TE Heath Miller caught a quick, 13-yard pass for the first down. “It worked a little better this week,” Miller said. “The [linebackers] played the run and no one rotated down on top of me.”

Uh oh, so the golden boy, Heath Miller, says it's the same play. Where are all the cocky ************* now, yapping? Want a coaches film snapshot of the ******* play from last week and this week? I can post it up if you like, I'll even look and see where the coverage is. How does that sound?

You can't go by what players and coaches say in interviews....

Are you suggesting they're NOT forthcoming in interviews?!?

Well, his QB did say the opposite in his own quote, sooooo....

You're right Ark please forgive me. You have to go by someone who posts incessantly on a message board about games he doesn't see

Certainly saw the Tampa Bay game and certainly read the article YOU posted, in which Ben stated it couldn't have been a pass play.

See? No name-calling

I don't understand the issue here. It's a pass/ run option but it's based on a pre snap read. They only have X amount of plays. So they can only run so many individual plays.

Don't waste your time with him. He's from one of the biggest shitholes on earth and probably is a jobless bum that's clueless about the world

Dude. He's the guy who once told me Tomlin was responsible for the SB win because he invented - I **** you not - the sideline chant the Steelers recited through the playoffs. He told me he heard it in an interview on a SportsCentury DVD. Can't make this stuff up.

Why would a longtime starting TE lie about the play? I mean, I'd think if he KNEW he wasn't going to be targeted the week before, as in if it wasn't a run/pass option based on coverage, he'd be more than happy to point out the superior call this week. That's a win for him, a win for the coaching staff, and a win for the team. What in the hell would possibly be gained by lying in that situation? Sometime people really grasp at straws. I can post the coaches film of the tampa bay guy lined up just about on top of Heath on that third and 5 play, if you like. They are daring the Steelers to pass, and hey, maybe they should have tried to force it in there anyway, but I'm telling you right now, if that play is a pass/run audible, and Ben audibles to the pass with that look, we'd all be saying he's out of his mind.

Lol and thats exactly what you're doing making **** up cause your getting called out for not seeing games. You did not see the Tampa game.

You asked me to provide something where Tomlin motivated his players. I alluded to James Farrior contributing a quote Tomlin told the players that they used as motivation to get up for games thru out that year.
No where did i say that quote was responsible for the team winning the Super Bowl. I simple provided wgat you asked. Naming a time Tomlin motivated his team.

Where are you getting this ****? LOL. Why would I "admit" to missing some games yet "claim" to see others?

That's as incorrect as your claim you didn't PM me to complain about name-calling.

The game wasnt on in your area last week. And you dont watch links so how did you see it. You didnt go to the bar. Stop lying. All you do.

Exactly what I said then and i didnt PM you I RESPONDED to your PM. Big difference.

the "...." meant sarcasm was involved.

If only there were some system.. maybe through satellites??.. that allowed the game to be broadcast to different markets.. ? No. No, couldn't be.

Exactly what I said then

Yes, I know it was. "The name-calling is a bit too much" was the quote, or very close to it. I had to talk you off your e-ledge, as most of the board was just laying into you at that point.

And you used nothing of the sort. You sat home and watched the Espn gamecast or another site. With anothet tab open to the game thread. I dont think you saw the Cleveland game either but im giving you the benefit of doubt. Dont know why all you do is lie.

Still lying. You're not lying about what was said you're lying about the context which it was said. Smh and you know you can because the board died and there is no proof. So you lie cause you know its my word vs yours.

Sorry, sometimes, on this board, it's hard to tell. I was once told that even though two players had referred to the benchings of rb due to fumble issues, that no one was being benched for fumbling. I asked why in the world a player would claim it to be happening if that wasn't it, and was told, point ******* blank, that Tomlin just wasn't the type of coach that would sit someone for fumbling, so the players must be lying. I **** you not.

Which is what Antdrew said during the game, JJ called him a liar, it escalated to this lol but that's what happens when idiot gets involved.
