Steelers @ Jacksonville

They? I know this may be hard for some to believe, but just because somebody is giving a different opinion doesn't make them a Tomlin "nut hugger", or a Tomlin "hater" either. This drawing a line in the sand bullshit is childish as Hell. I enjoy reading the opinions of others (Including yours believe it or not.), even those I disagree with completely when it is about the subject at hand.

My mistake, dad. You're right.

But if you truly believe there isn't a gaggle of posters on here who defend the guy to the death, beyond reason, to the point of babbling insulting bullshit, then you're not on here as much as you think. Doesn't make them bad people, of course. Just douchebags who deserve to be called out.

Why, I was told multiple times this week that Tomlin has shown great leadership here, that he deserves more than 7-8 years to improve, and that he doesn't really have any responsibility as HC so he escapes the blame. Then today, right on cue, I'm "called out" after a close win over the Jags.

Dad? LMAO already. I admit, I'm not here as much as I used to be. The place just isn't all that interesting any more.

Hmmm .. "I" told you that Tomlin has shown great leadership, that he deserves more than 7-8 years to improve, and that he doesn't have any responsibility as HC? Or are you just taking your frustration with other posters out on me? If the latter, that would seem to put you into the "douchebag" category you talk about.

When was the last time a thread went a couple pages without a discussion about Tomlin even if he has zero to do with the thread subject?

He's the HC. He plays a massive role in talent acquisition/development, gameplanning, and team control. Very, very rarely does a team have an issue that doesn't involve the HC if only peripherally.

Did I use your name? I assure you, you're far from the only "defend Tomlin at all costs" guy on here.

Funny, because I'm not a "defend Tomlin at all costs" guy at all. But you and your "pack" continue to believe what you want. It's a small thing in big world.

You sir are an imbecile. The Steelers won today for one. Two, I was as pissed at Tomlin as anyone last week. Three, I was also pissed about the Coordinators and the players. Last week was a total **** up on all levels. One for which I stated that Tomlin as the HC bore the ultimate responsibility. And you are aware that I stated this because you responded in the same threads.

The problem with you "Haters' and "Nutsackers" is that you can't conceive of a fan who is neither one nor the other. It limits your perceptions.

Being called an imbecile by someone as stupid as you means nothing but again keep trying to deflect the FACT you brought up Tampa scoring 31 points to try and mitigate Tomlin's epic fail last week. You are a gutless ******** who tries to play the middle while constantly defending Tomlin at every turn. You are not smart enough by a longshot to fool anyone but yes you are a moron like the coach you defend with all your limited intellect.

I agree, but we could be talking about the Bronco's and someone will get it started. Not necessarily someone who hates him either, it's just never ending. He's the head coach so even the morons coaching under him are his fault. He is involved in the draft, the dumbass moves they make that weekend are also in some ways tied to him. I agree with all of that. The players who can't make plays a twelve year old can make on the field also fall under his area of fault.

Stating it 1,000 times a month doesn't make it any more interesting, or relevant. I don't care if it's pro/anti Tomlin. I give up already.

You may not be. I don't know you personally. But on this board, you defend Tomlin at all costs, hence the nametag.

My pack.. LOL.. I guess that means "anyone who looks at Tomlin logically"

Steelbuckeye ********, why did you bring up Tampa scoring 31 points for ? Think fast.

No he is the voice of reason and a football genius, just let him keep telling everyone how smart he is. He is the equal of Tomlin on this board, a bombastic idiot without a clue but he will defend the moron at all costs and against all fact and logic.

The loss was a horrible kick in the nuts. There is absolutely no way they should have lost that game. Settling for field goals due to penalties moving us back. Penalties? More like a landslide of penalties. Which points to the undisciplined nature of this team. People missing assignments PRIOR to the snap leading to long passing plays. Failure to wrap up on tackles. Bad coaching decisions (turtle ball and crap defensive calls).
I don't think we saw the best that this team/coaching staff is capable of in Carolina. However, I don't think we saw the worst that this team/coaching staff is capable of on Sunday. From top to bottom, they need to get their heads out of their butts and start approaching these games and the preparation for them as if doing so is what puts food on their tables. And personally, I see it as a lack of leadership and professionalism.

The defense is saaawwwwwfffftttt ... The OC is saaaawwwwwffffftttt ... The HC is tone deaf and the DC seems to be going senile right before our eyes.

I said it a couple of days ago. The Head Coach gets ultimate responsibility for wins or losses. This loss, this terrible, gut wrenching, **** the bed, penalty riddled loss ultimately Tomlin's fault. The Defense played like crap. The Offense went turtle ball in the second half and when they weren't, they were playing not to lose .... **** THE BATTLE FOR FIELD POSSESSION ... PUT THE BALL IN THE ENDZONE and you don't have to worry about it. The sheer volume of penalties reflect on the undisciplined nature of this team.
I'm not totally in the Tomlin must go camp, but "obviously" as the play continues to be "below the line", the "needle is pointing in that direction".

Yep, those are definitely the posts of someone who defends Tomlin incessantly. Next?

You seem to accuse a lot of people of this, like myself.

Care to back it up? LOL

It appears you've changed your tune over the last week or so. Are you denying that you've been balls to the wall pro-Tomlin prior to that?

Ohh, I've definitely defended Tomlin in the past. I've also stated, even while defending him, that it wouldn't hurt me personally one bit if they made a change. The thing that you fail to see is that I'm not a "Hater" or a "Nutsacker" and I could give a flying F about the feud you guys have going on. If I think someone says something against Tomlin that I don't agree with, I'll debate it. If I think someone says something in support of Tomlin that I disagree with, I'll debate it. I'll leave that hard and fast, line drawn in the sand stuff to those of you who have a passion for being rigid in your thinking.

And water is wet.

Yes, you've hedged your stance nicely, praising Tomlin for everything under the sun while simultaneously admitting you have no reasoning behind it.

I could give a flying F about the feud you guys have going on.

LOL, This **** is funny.

It doesn't take rigidity of thinking to see Tomlin's ineptitude. He brings no apparent positives to the team, and his negatives are well-documented. Furthermore, his supporters refuse to provide real strengths he brings to the table.

Why do you assume I'm rigid in my thinking? Because I actually take a stance in an embarrassingly one-sided debate on Mike Tomlin? What other things am I rigid about?

Lmao ... Idioteque, you can be a pretty good poster here. Providing good insight when you choose to. However, you take yourself a lil too seriously when it comes to this message board stuff. You're not the message board god. You're just another fan on here expressing their opinion. Why you choose to be an *** about it is beyond me. But, if that's you schtick have fun with it.

As for your rigidity, it's apparent that you choose to put people in categories and don't like to change your mind about those categories. It's also part of your schtick.

Sweet Christ, dude.

The message board god?

Schtick?
