Steelers JV Squad Vs the Tampa Bay Bradys Gameday thread

Can I get a big FU to the NFL network. I watched this game from a ticker on my phone. Refresh, refresh….

They showed EVERY ******* team but our game. I was like, for sure they will show a lot bc of Marsha. Nope. Barely 2min tops the whole time

yeah, its the way the head snaps down after the shoulders hit the ground, then the head snaps down to the ground even faster.

Plus with all the Tua concussion talk, you know PIT is gonna be very conservative with him.
 
I want to say the tempo seemed up on both sides of the ball. Something to build off of.

Also amazed how well that D played overall.

Nothing but good things to say this week.

The offensive play calling for much of the game and well the last two years. I swear some of those I just wanted to punch canada in the face ,smack him around and tell him dude this doesn't work, just stop it.

They should. The injured guys they replaced have sucked. You have to give them another shot just to see if your talent evaluation is really that bad or if we just got real lucky for 60 minutes today.

They made case to be included in a rotation. I don't want to knee jerk too much. But yeah damn good efforts on their part.
 
This is an excellent win. Coming off the rout at Buffalo, with the injuries in the secondary.... It looks like a blowout again.

I posted earlier this week about looking to see if Tomlin might be losing the team. Not even close. These guys played today, and refused to fold.

Imo, Tomlin's best win in 3 years.

I have to agree. It's the best prepared I've seen the Steelers in ages. The only question I have is where's this every week?
 
Listening to MTomlin's press conference and Mike is certainly "appreciative" of a lot of things.

Man, Im glad we won, but Im getting so tired of Tomlin's canned expressions that he uses every time. They had some bumps and bruises associated with play, Im just "appreciative of.....{insert anything here}". Mike really complimented the "mettle" of his team. Man this crap just keeps getting older and older.

But at least this week, we won so MT's predictable pressers can be listened to while being happy.

why do people expect much out of press conferences?

coaches are not going to say **** that means anything

they all use the same tired expressions week in and week out

I was just thinking he's going to come out with a bunch of verbal diarrhea and wreck what was established today.

whenever he thinks that running backs are going to get to the edge and get around to go north and south, I am ready to punch him in the face. That crap may work sometimes in college but not in the pros.

Maybe a WR possibly could get some yardage IF the blocking is set up, but overall, Canada's BS sweeps are just that BS.

on a separate note: Claypool really stepped up. He was absolutely the man on the final drive to kill the clock. Got to give Mitch credit as well for putting the ball where Chase could catch it.

TB seemed to try to squash George Pickens, so that has to open things up for Claypool and he really did the job today. Hope that continues.

Maybe so, but I guess I have just grown tired of MTs. I have watched some of Sean McVays pressers and he doesnt do what Tomlin does. I would feel the same way if I was a NE fan. Belicheat has the same monotone expression almost like he is mad that he even has to answer these mundane stupid questions.

Mike knows damn well that these reporters have a job to do and he just doesnt want to help them at all. Just give them tired old expressions and platitudes and act like he is doing them a favor for even gracing them with his prescence--Mr 1 playoff victory in like 10 years. Belicheat has 6 rings on his fingers. He actually has a reason to be arrogant. Tomlin---not so much. But hey, we won. I wont worry, I will be happy!! dont worry, be happy now.
