Steelers - Raiders game thread. #ImmaculatelyNumb

You know how the saying goes. You can't win every year.

This D is way over advertised
Well Dj.......normally I don’t like too many excuses. But you must agree,The injuries have something to do with it. Our lack of depth of our pass defense was mine and many others biggest concern going into the season. It’s showing here.

Oh well....Time to cut the grass... Tough game, sucks to lose but it is a long season and we have Ben's gals next week for the bounceback.

I do agree. I just thought there was more than what was injured. Maybe I just over estimated it. It would be nice to have decent offensive calls to shore up a so-so offense.

Why the hell run a play?

run a play and get injured. Just what I thought was going to happen if they ran a play/..LOL

That was disappointing. We seem to be pretty banged up and may have ended the game with one more injury.

That pisses me off more than the loss. Now we lose a guy for absolutely fn nothing!!!!

Once more… historically offensive changes aren’t instantaneous and new olines take time to gel

i want to remind everyone that when we went from whiz to Arians, Arians ran whiz’s offense for almost a year before actually implementing his chuck and duck.. Haley ran a ton of Arians deep stuff that first season until they acclimated … Fitchner looked competent for tge first ten or so games his first year while he installed his no run O

I don’t understand why people thought the offense was going to be instantly different… thats almost never done outside of rebuilding teams

I dunno for me Ben didn't do enough this game. Overall a lot of fails. Which isn't shocking with a loss.

Then why bring Ben back for this year. If the goal is long term, you don’t do that with a 40 year old QB.

Snell sucks. Use Ballage to spell Harris.

Johnson keeps running wrong routes.

Another great punt by Harvin.
They keep drafting players that are too ******* stupid

It isn’t long term, but anybody they brought in wasn’t going to have the offense rejiggered till midseason at least… it doesn’t mean you cannot win like that, but yes, you never overhaul the entire offense or defense in one offseason… tgere is always some carryover

but it should get better… the oline is just ungelled… they are off time in hitting blocks and everyone is still overthinking things… once tgey get around week 5 or 6 you will see a much better run game

I wouldn't put this on Ben. He made some great passes and did all he could. Tough to compete when you have no D and an Ebron. Why is he on our team? Is he the guy they send out for food before the meetings?
